So here is my gallery! Like sitting on the top of a cold, lonely mountain... My first picture is one, some of you may already know. But I want you to write something for me, what you think of it and stuff. Cause I like the pic so much. Or you copy your comment from SFWC if you want. There will be more Lisa pictures, soon. Better, larger and more lisa-like. I promise!

(I'll reveiw this a second time, WITHOUT looking at my old reveiw. So, dont shoot me if I contradict myself ) I personaly think its verrry symbolic. After looking at it a second time, I notice she isnt wearing anything to keep her warm, which could mean she isnt 'really' there, just a metaphore. Which also stays in line with the quoted sentance Again, I must say I'm amazed on how realistic the background mountains are. As well as the folds in Lisa's dress. Lisa herself doesnt look too comfortable... *runs up mountain with a pillow* ... but thats very well done! Hard to draw a pose like that. Its kinda angsty in a way. She must be real lonely in 'reality' to think like this... *runs back up with a hug*... Awsome job Frank! Carry on like this These types of pictures are priceless. ( Old review on GFWC)

Oh, I can only say that the picture is complex and impressive. I always liked your shading, and your style is original. My only nitpick is Lisa's expression; the note tells me that she feels sad right now, but her face doesn't. Like Casper said, she doesn't look feeling comfortable... I hope the mountain top isn't too sharp... *gets kicked; runs away* But nevertheless, this picture is very well done, both Lisa and the background. The shading of the rocks and the mist amongst them looks very professional. Good job, Frank!

CargoOfDarknessHello! Your drawing is very handsome and skilled, especially I like all that cliffs and clouds surrounding Lisa. It is done simply masterly. And of course I should mention actually the main heroine of your work. Lisa looks stunning. What a fine pose she have! I'm very impressed with a position of her hands, an excellent bend you have made, such sensual and expressive. To other details. The hairdo is made perfectly, a shaing representing the hair mass simply magnificent! One of pearls looks too big for me, but I think it was your intention, so I will not speak about such discrepancies and be centred on another details. The folds on a dress are made expressively and in place. A salience makes me think that Lisa already has a breast, so it wouln't be our little Lisa. And the similar remark - I'm a little confused that she has a visible open part of her hip, But it is just nonsense, you know. It's your right to draw what you want. I have to say there's something strange with her feet. I mean such little hillocks on the side of each foot. Yes I know it's a nonsense too, just it looks some strange to me. As if Lisa has some troubles with her feet (prescription shoes hasn't helped? (3F01) ) So, on the whole the picture is great. Of course it is not deprived of some lacks but those are so small that I even don't want to recollect them. We want more of your pictures!

This is sort of freaky. The picture here almost resembles the fanfic that I'm writing for LisaCon 2007. But I don't want to give too much away about it.

Very good picture, though I'd prefer to discuss it in the LisaCon-related thread instead. I can say that the subject is charming, and I like the backgrounds (both of them). Using the default "grass" brush looks a bit reused even to me now, but it doesn't make the picture any worse. Grownup Lisa looks great! You did a really good job with her. As for the kids... their proportions are a bit off, especially hands. But the picture "in total" looks very harmonious and professionally done.

The background on your last pic looks awesome! But, as Dag said, the kids are a bit off. Grown-up Lisa looks pretty good, though. Good job!

Thank you very much, you guys are very nice. Well, Gustavo, this picture brightend your day? But it is so sad...? Dagdamor, this picture tooked me very long, especially the kidz, because Lisas pose was very difficult and I stil haven?t done it right, but it is okay IMO. I have my own Simpsons-styl which changes time to time. but I am very glad you like it... ...just... wish I could ready a comment from a special member... ....

Oh my, there's plenty to be said about your new picture, Cargo... And i think i will do just that, *but*... since this is also the picture you have submitted to LisaCon and since i'm preparing an in-depth review of all the pics posted there, i'll take that occasion to review this properly. For now i can say that you managed to pleasantly surprise me. You're taking your skills to another level here. More on this later..

CargoOfDarknessNo more replys?!? ... Sorry... seems that we have rather slow times right now. It will pass Now back to the topic: I like the Lisa/Brian drawing very much. It's nicely done (love that chubby cheek), and they both look on-model. Interesting idea, like Andreas said, they could be good friends in a crossover.

Hehe, that is a wonderful idea indeed, Cargo! Brian and Lisa are a great team, as Andreas said, they have much in common. I just hope Lisa won't take after Brian's bad habits, but that aside, it's a very interesting characters combination. Artistically speaking, the pic is very on-model for both, i like that Brian and Lisa have almost the same size: Heh, he could even carry her around on his back Like Lisa's happy expression and the clean lineart. Do you plan to color this one? I hope so

CargoOfDarknessUh, I've seen only couple of "Family Guy" episodes, so I can't judge, how much they have in common and could they be good friends. But looking on this picture I remember Marge with Snoopy She is big fan of that dog, probably Lisa like funny white dogs too, so they looking very natural together. Well done!

As far as I know - though I don't much about Family Guy - that Brian guy is a highly intelligent talking dog with a higher eductaion. Like Gromit, only Brian can speak. I guess those two will have something to discuss:-) Great idea greatly done. Thanks, CargoOfDarkness:-)

Few... I am back... well... first to say, that Brian-Lisa pic will have to wait a bit... sorry... but Family Guy isn?t a pointless show... Weeeeell, it would be mean, if I am leaving you without something new right now? Hehe, but I am not going to. So here it is. It?s called "Ich will kein Engel sein", which means "I don?t want to be an angel". Could be a reference to all those Lisa-Wing-Angel pics, couldn?t it? But it isn?t just that. It is inspirated by the Song "Engel" by the band Rammstein. It describes Lisas feelings really good. Cause she is an realist? I mean, she does not belive in angels. Well, I translated the song in English for you, but I would sound as deep as the original (and doesn?t rime). Enjoy!

BTW: That "Sergeant Lisa" is the mascott of our unity! "Who?s good on earth in his lifetime Will become an angel after death You looking at the sky and think Why can?t you see them?
They live beyond the sunshine Seperated from us infinitly far away They have to claw themself on stars So they will not fall from the sky.
When the clouds fall asleep You can see us in the sky We are frightened and alone God really knows I don?t want to be an angel..."And here is the scetch:

Wow, sorry for not saying nothing about your first 2 pics, cause they are awesome to the max....
Vey nice effects on that pic where Lisa on on those hills. Everything like a combination of realistic and cartoony style, you always do pretty good and thoughtfull pics with lots of meaning, Frank, and this is not exception. sincerely my cup of tea, the hands and feet are a little off but looking it as a whole it look stupendous.
The other pic where there is like a time bridge between the present and the future really blew off my mind, Vey nice color palette. I just have a question. Do you have some knowledge on Matte coloring, it really seems like you do, comrade. Again your pics are very top quality, we are I'm hopying that you'll post more of your colorations.
Thanks a million for sharing. Might you be interested in helping with the colab calendar next year?

Please do color or I'll hunt you for the rest of times. * Grabs a hatchet Homer Simpson Style like in the tree house of horror episode* And to think That my name in English is Homer too. Shhh.... Its a secret, do not tell anyone. Hides under the desk. Edit: Oops you did color that pic, sorry I didn't noticed. Could someone please help us with the translation. I cannot understand at all.
