I modified all of these pictures, and since I haven't seen her posted in this dress, I thought of starting up this topic, let me know what you think of them.

Thanks CCD, There was some drawing involved, I first had to draw the dress as an outline and then grabpic it in psp 7, it wasn't easy!

I always like so see Lisa in different clothing from the usual red dress. These give a new dimension to these scenes .. good work! Tho i used to use PSP 7 for drawings and it dont produce the cleanest of lines, as some of my early stuff showed, but you have done a good job

they're okay for the firsts, though do make them smaller in height. I'd personally recommend 550.

I have changed my pics, they are now smaller, and I also changed them to gif format. Here are 3 more pics, the third one wasn't that easy to do.

Thank you fusion376 & Calculatedchaos for your comments, i'm glad you like them, and that only gives me more reason to make more pics. I like her in this dress, rather than her red dress, makes her look even more cute, and yes i do lisa!

steven4554Not bad at all. You have... have given her a pink dress instead of red one. I myself rarely do the grabpics, because of a huge unnecessary actions, like tracing or making the contours, and such... I still haven't overcome myself...

I'm not really too sure on the purple background. I've always preferred white.

Thanks, my personal favourites are 1 and 12.gif!
Gary:
I picked the purple background as i thought it looked a bit more colourful than the standard white background. Future posts will still feature the purple background, but i will also do grabpics with the white background too, which will be zipped up!

Here are 4 more lisa pictures, and i'll start making some grabpics with maggie! Looking god. I noticed the small dots on some of them. (I sometimes get them too ;-) ) It is usually something that turns up in GIF file format. You can either use another file format, or figure out if your image program has some adjustment that can fix it. Maybe Dithering level.

steven4554This is unusual and nice indeed (and I like Lisa in this dress, although I'd like Lisa in any possible appearance), but have you tried to draw your own pics featuring Lisa in the outfit you like so much instead of altering existing ones? This is a wonderful thing - to be able to draw something that wasn't drawn before, to give life to your fantasies... especially if they don't hurt or shock others. I hope to see some original drawing in this thread soon.

Leif: Thanks for letting me know about the dots, I'll see what i can do too get rid of them as much as possible, if it doesn't work i'll change to the png format.
Dagdamor: I can draw the dress on existing pics as an outline and then grabpic them, but when it comes to drawing a simpsons character i'm not very good, but i will take your advise and try my best (even if it isn't perfect) to draw an original picture.

steven4554 I know starting from a blank peace of paper is always preferable. But if you, like I, just cant do that, there are other ways. You have already stared out by changing Lisa’s dress. Why not try to change other things? Slowly you learn to control more and more. That is the way I do it. And one day you can start your drawings with something that was not "Simpsons" to start with. I know it is not easy, but once in a while you get some quite interesting results.

Here are four more pictures (sorry about the dots if any picture has them but these were done before i was made aware of them, thanks leif) i've been busy trying to draw lisa on a notepad with a pen and my first attempt is not prefect but better than what i thought i could do, so i will continue to draw, and someday i will post original pics.

steven4554Aww @ the third one! hey, I cannot remember that moment (when Lisa holds that box). Which episode was it from? Nice pictures - not a bad choice for grabpiccing. I will wait for your own drawings though, thanks for believing in yourself.

The picture in question came from the episode Lisa the Greek, Season 3. Though i didn't like how Homer treated Lisa at the start of the episode! Forgot i had a webcam in my laptop, so i took a snapshot of my 1st drawing and now you can view it below, as i said it isn't perfect, but at least it's a start!

Hhmmm me like this sketch, is simple and very cute,.... although the drawing and the technique is not perfect, your drawing is a reflection of the innocence of Lisa, her smile it shows ... That is the most important , you just need practice, a good start Thanks by post your art, this is very important to our dear forum *hugs

Thanks for the support Gustavo, i'm currently drawing again and again trying to perfect my drawings, though i do have trouble with some parts of my drawings, such as hair, hands and eyes, apart from those niggles i can do the rest such as the dress, but i will keep on drawing until i get it right. Back to my drawing and grabpics!!
