Flash is actually handy sometimes, I use Flash for all of my artwork now (ever since February 2006). So knowing Flash is still a good thing to know.

I didn't mean that, actually I parodied Steve Jobs. I just wanted to wait for an answer like this one before explaining it. Of course Flash can be very useful, but you should know how to use it. For example you shouldn't do overload, overanimated websites with flash... but even if you don't, there's always an alternative.

Regarding the topic, I doubt that guy (tlwhes?) decided to turn the site down. Why, it was a GrEaT homepage of a boy with perfect life and pretty girlfriend and whatever else he posted there much more probably, the hosting company has turned the site down due to questionable content, or the site wasn't updating for a long time and was considered abandoned.
