A good start man, the faces in particularly are well drawn. Smile All about the practice, the more pictures you draw, the better you become!

Keep at it! Thanks for showing us Smile

Please upload more.... sometimes the "innocence" of sketches are more charming than full blown drawings.

I felt a knot in my throat seeing lisa crying, the picture make me want to confort poor Lisa.

Nice one Smile

Hey, another new artist. =) It's fun to see people progressing as they draw more.

For a first picture it's pretty good in my opinion. You've obviously paid most attention to Lisa, and I must say I like the way you drew her head. It's a little different, and it seems you're already developing a personal style there. I say stick with it and keep drawing until you perfect it all. Wink

Hey, that is the most emotional picture I'd saw in a late couple of weeks... These omotins on the pic really have touched the heart, and I like it. It remembers me the past times when Lisa was associated not as girlish embodyment of "Iron Lady" Thatcher but as much weaker and much more believable character of this life. Thanks for your sketching.

Your Homer pic turned out rather nicely. It's really funny Big Grin

And Lisa looks cool in your second pic.

I like both pics. Keep on drawing Big Grin

And remember if you want try something hard, never give up, put down your pencil and rest for a while, but you can never give up Wink

Big laugh at the "Cthulhu_Homer" one. XD Looks insane and reminds me of my favorite Futurama character Dr. Zoidberg. Tongue

The archer picture is pretty cute, it's not really on model, but I actually like the rough way her hair looks, her expression, and the way you stacked it on top of this really small body with thin arms. ^-^

Looking great, keep drawing!

*ROFL* At the Chtulhu Homer picture! Awesome idea there, well done. Can't really comment about it cause its very simple and its all about the joke... but the joke is great Big Grin

The Archer picture is cute, but the head is just too big and the arms too small in comparison to the body Smile You could even modify those in a photoshop like program and the pic would gain imho a lot of points. MAybe you could try a second version of it? I really think it deserves.

Gustavo said it better than anyone else could have. Smile Practice is everything!

But quite a nice idea for a picture, if a little bleek. One day you'll find this picture, dust it off, and re-draw it with masterful perfection. Tongue

Your style almost reminds me of Gustavo, at least with Lisa's hair (especially in your first picture). Lisa looks a bit odd in this picture, most notably it seems like her lower lip is too small, as are the hands. But the eyes were done well, and the hair. And I do like the idea behind this picture; very original.

Gustavo's right, keep practicing, and I know soon you'll realize your full talent with a pencil.

Interesting picture, although I'm not sure I fully understood it. IMHO, that "magic" girl and Lisa should be by the opposite sides of the glass! Because the world you pictured behind it, much more looks like Lisa's homeworld rather than that wild nature in front of it. Maybe they have changed places, and now try to change back? If so, I can understand that sorrowful expression on the other girl's face, our world is far from being a nice gift Big Grin
Technically, your pic is not perfect (my biggest nitpick is that it looks flat once again), but it's noticeable that you try and improve. So, keep drawing nice pictures Smile And try to color it, too. Good luck!

I think the one on the other side of the glass is his Simpson version of himself, or at least his character "Rain Kid" (see previous picture). Wink

I love the idea! =) I wanted to draw something similar to this myself based on a picture by Maggiecute, I think she used to have this one as her avatar, except they were facing opposite directions.
The picture doesn't bother me technically, but I'm not sure I understand your choice for Lisa's expression... she looks terified! :X But everything has its explanation I suppose, it just throws me off a bit. Tongue

Keep it up, you'll be a regular Gustavo in no time. ^-^

You know, in looking at the drawing again, I noticed something about the girl on the other side... has anyone here ever seen the cartoon Courage the Cowardly Dog? If you have, the girl on the other side looks a little bit like Shirley the Medium... maybe I'm just looking too hard, but honestly she was the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture.

Maybe it's just me? Anyone else see similarities?

The first is a drawing based in a book of Edgar Allan Poe, "The Black Cat" and the second one is Lisa descending the stairs and in his side, the sea.

About Swallowed for the Sea

Wow this pic is a touch on my own soul congrulations! by somes motives i can remenber a old pic saved in my room...  the details are very nice .... and especially the scene ... your drawing is perfect for a remake, in fact I have a lot of envy (sorry...I am a human) ... the atmosphere is simple and very inspiring ....

raink kid!
remember this gold rule to any men or woman that have a pencil in the hands: "NEVER ENOUGH" keep drawing each day ... forever in any moment ... the artist does no exist!!! The artist is only a human that live only by somes years in this world, the art is forever and witha  long life ...the memories can live by a lot of years after our own end... the art is a part of the humanity, small o big, by masters or novices... by artists or lovers... is free, and "libre" as a bird....

see ya !

Haha, I can't get over the addition of Edgar Allan Poe in the first picture... nice job Big Grin Technically the pictures aren't your best, in the first picture Homer looks a little off, and Marge's arms seem to bulge out more towards the wrists... although the cat seems perfectly done.

The second picture (and maybe it was intended to be this way, maybe not), but it looks like it could be a noir-style Tim Burton-esque cartoon of some kind... the way you've drawn Lisa and the staircase almost reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Like I said, maybe this wasn't your original plan, but I think it's pretty cool if you can start to draw something with one thing in mind, and have it turn out as something else.
