Wow Kat that is pretty good work there. This something I would like to try to do, if I had the attention span to get past doing single drawings at a time. Most of the designs are spot on and your style is easily seen. The only thing that I think is a bit odd is the size of lisa's eyes, they seem a bit large for her head. Keep it up and I cant wait to see how much you have done when I get back from Boot Camp.

Oh wow, that's a good amount of work... I'm very impressed, you should continue and finish this! Technically, the characters look great, especially Lisa - and Bart looks, okay, ugly, just on one single panel (where he says "Groan!" Tongue), and everywhere else he's damn close to perfect too. Good job, please keep it going!

Very good work on this. I can't wait to see the rest of the comic, too. Everything looks on-model, and very cute. Smile

BTW, love Lisa's ponytail. Smile Nobody gave her this attribute so far (I mean in her current age), wonderful idea.
Oh and Aww @ the panel where she hugs the plushy bear, putting her nose over it!

Nice one Kat, very well drawn. The story behind it too is very good. Looking forward to seeing more of this as it progresses.

As commented before, The eyes are big, but I do like this style of your drawing, it seems to add a sort of added cuteness to the pictures.

I think this is one of the best so far, can see a great improvement as time goes on Smile

That's wonderful Kat! That must've taken a lot of time to draw and I hope you can keep this up until it's finished. Smile

I do have one tip/nitpick, though. On the third page the order of panels isn't right. The order of panels in a comic should always be from top to bottom and from left to right. On the third page you started on the right, which could make your comic be harder to read, because it could be read in the wrong order. You can fix this by using arrows to make clear how your comic should be read. Wink

Keep up the good work!

I think it reads perfectly fine if you do read it left to right, top to bottom on the third page.

Kat - Keep going.

Good work. Smile Sadness and quite a bit "normal" phrases. I did not see in any event, that Bart had done for Lisa a birthday, even in the first seasons (in the third season he make happy Lisa only). This comic is very pleased me (yesterday translated into the Russian language), hope to see the coloured version. Smile

Continue, and your works will be yet better! Wink

Kat, i'm absolutely impressed by this!

I must be honest with you.. when i first saw your pictures, i would have never expected so much of an improvement, but holy Lisa, look at what you're doing here. Smile You remember me in many ways of the legend that was Jake Lennington, your style has a lot similar to him (i bet he was an inspiration to you as to me for starting to draw?).
But your characters are, honestly, way more likeable than his (i never liked his buffed up Maggie from the future), and you put a lot of effort in what imho is the main focus of a comic like this. Character interactions, and expressions, and you're very good at etting the feelings accross: your masterpiece being the last panel with Lisa hugging the teddybear, such a powerful conclusion to a panel involving once again sibling rivalry with Lisa coming out sad from it.
Yeah, the drwings are not always perfect and some might need some work still, but i see more greatness than fail here... on a ratio of 9/1 maybe. Tongue the only blatant errors i can find are, as already said, Bart's face in 6th panel and Lisa's in 4th panel of the first page (overbite too long and round).
Homer and Marge i nthe first panel are drawn flawlessly!! I hope you'll get them involved again in the story. Smile

Well, what can i say, you're improving so much it leaves me quite dazzled. I definitely hope to see more of this comic. Keep up the great work!  Big Grin

P.S.: Oh, something not related to the art itself... maybe you could try a bit of cleanup of the pencil smudges on photosop, if you dont plan to make a complete retouching/coloring later.

Thats exactly what I felt when I saw them. These have a nostalgic feeling to them, but its definatly a great improvement in your skills. Its hard to stay focused and commited to large comic idea's, I hope this works out well for you. Smile

Good luck and well done for overcoming the first hurdles!

Yes he was, when I first went on Maggie and Eric I was inspired to make my own Fourth Simpson, this time a girl and Maggie and Monica has been running for about a year now.

Damn it, that's a very nice, cute comix, Maggiecute. You really has got a enough of skills to do such a complex job like comic. What to say, I love Lisa's hairdo, agreed with previous posters. Emotions - this is just great, all personages has recognizable expressions, like it show. Good work again. Maggie
