I had an idea yesterday... after some sleep it didn't go away, so maybe it's not that bad Tongue

I want to maintain something like a fanart album. A little PDF magazine with not much text, but with nice collection of best fan-made drawings. At least one issue, but if the idea will be accepted, there will be more. I want to make the publishing process as much easy as possible, so I will have to write some kind of program/script for that. But that doesn't seem to be too hard.

What do you think about this idea, and if you like it, do you grant your permission to me to use your art in that magazine? I promise to credit your authorship and provide some short description to each picture. I also won't use your real names there, only nicknames unless you prefer the opposite.

1000 ruble or 1000 peso? Wink Naturally, I don't have anything to contribute apart from some very occasional grabpics, but I think that's a nice idea indeed. Smile

Thanks for the responses people!
Empethree, tell this to me... I'm planning to use only colored, or shaded pics. Which makes 99,9% of my own "art" useless. Your art is not that bad. Smile

Two more notes: 1) I can ask some of you for the version of your picture with bigger resolution, if you have one, it would be great; and 2) if you art didn't appear in the issue, please don't worry - you can always send me a suggestion for the next issue, it's even appreciated. Remember that an issue shouldn't be too heavy (say, not more than 5 Mb), so it can't take too much pictures in high resolution. That's all so far Smile

I have the original (high-res) versions of each art that I have done, but they are usually 6.4 at the least. Embarrassed

Oh, will this magazine be a monthly thing like an actual magazine if it becomes popular with the public, may I ask? =)

I also have high-res versions of most of my pics. If you need one, just ask.

Any picture you like from me. As for names, use either. Or both if your feel like typing a lot. Wink

If you want me to upload any images you cant find or, need a better size, its not a problem. Just not sure why you'd want to choose mine in the first place. Ugly stuff! Tongue

Its a nice idea, I like it. Smile

I'd be happy to contribute, of course, not only with pic but even with help on the work itself. Smile

Last night I was thinking, since some artists here have the original versions, maybe a certain page can feature a selected artists work in high-res? Kinda like a featured art of the month, or a poster in higher quality?  Confused

Why not? But this cannot be a page of the magazine, because it would make it too heavy. Each hi-res pic usually weighs several megabytes... but if you mean a separate page, or even a folder on the LTS server - I'm for it. Smile
