The first one is just a grabpic and as such it's been on the show. There's no need to set the mature filter on. 'Tis good anyhow.

Technicaly the pictures are of a high quality but, my word... bit more than riské no? I mean "Now you will not Forgot it"... I dont think I will, ever, despite effort.

It doesn't matter what the subject matter of the picture is, art is art. What's disturbing here is your typing style. I suggest learning a bit more grammar/typing skills before you try to justify your art to these people.

With that said, I cannot view the pictures either.

Technical quality of the drawings is fairly good... but content not really my cup of tea.... sorry

Hey, hey, calm down GeorgeHarrison.   I'm seeing a kind of flamewar here, and I'm sure we don't want it to spead it out more than this.

According to what you mentioned about "art being art" yes, you are right Harrison, but there are certain rules about what kind of art you can post here, and this type of art is almost at the limits of acceptance.  Some people here will find it offensive, and I'd bet that you don't since you keep defending your POV.   However, insulting is definitely discouraged in the forum, and you just did that, again.

Entendemos que te guste este tipo de arte pero, hay reglas, y aunque no las has violado estas muy cerca.  Tu arte es bueno, muy bueno.  Espero que trates de irte por un tipo de arte un poco mas apropiado para este tipo de forum.  Se que puedes hacerlo, estuve observando tu arte en deviant.  Tus colores son muy llamativos, y ademas tu estilo es muy parecido al original, por eso te felicito, pero eso si, espero ver mas dibujos tuyos pero no tan cuestionables en su contenido.

We understand the fact that you love this kind of art, but there are rules, and even when you have not yet broke them, you are almost about to do so.  Your art is good, very good indeed.  I'm hoping to see more of it soon but not as risk? . A picture does not have to be like this to be nice and pleasant to the eye.  We are all adults, yes, but that's irrelevant to the subject. 

I've seen your deviant account, paisano, and I have to say that your colors are really vibrant, and also your style is pretty similar to the original in some ways.  Kudos to you!  But remember to lessen the questionable level of your pics, because besides breaking the rules, or rephrasing; almost breaking them, you are making some members uncomfortable, and is not me.   Look at the replies you have , and at the ones you haven't had because I know quite a few of our fellow members.


I'm hoping that you can understand about this, and expect you to stay around.  You can be a very good addition to the group.

Meh, from what I've seen, there is no set rule of "no mature art". As we've seen, Joe-Cool's Lisa picture did in fact garner some praise from the more open minded members. As I've said, I can't rate this guy's pictures due to the fact that I can't view them, but I'm going on the assumption that they aren't exactly pornographic.

I would allow anything in art short of directly pornographic material. As I've already told you, I strongly discourage censorship in art and music, so long as it doesn't push the boundaries. Again, I can't speak for these pictures, but I'm sure that they would have been removed or deleted if they were anything blatantly pornographic. And I said "blatantly" because I believe an artist of any kind should be given A LOT of leeway with their creations. Besides, I do remember some people that tried to ban art and books that were "controversial" or "offensive"... they went so far as to burn them. They were called Nazis.

As for "insulting"... *chuckles* I'm simply stating my mind. You can discourage me all you want, and in fact I fully expect to draw negative attention from the admins and dislike from other members due to my being very open with janglewolf, but I don't care. If he is able to "insult" me publicly, I have every right to defend myself publicly.

like others, i cant see your pictures because of d.a. content protection, so cant say anything about them. i want to see your art though, considering it wont be something offensive or explicit. ;-) if you feel that your pics are alright, you can reupload them to photobucket like george suggested, and post links here.

but i like the idea of art commissions. many of us like lisa art, but cant draw well. we need a special topic for that :-)

With the exception of Andreas, this quote is by far the best advice in the thread at the moment. I urge people PLEASE try to use the PM system, otherwise this forum is going to get messy. And when Serge comes back he isnt going to be very happy about it. And ofcourse, reading the forum rules goes without saying.

The only Lisa picture I liked, was the one that copies the scene from that episode. I.e. the one where Lisa is covered with her mask. Other two were... meh. Sorry. Technically, they were very well done, I couldn't do it as professionally. But the subject just made me shrug, especially after seeing other entries of your DA gallery. Lisa isn't just a dancing chick that can look sexy, she's much more than that. And you didn't even try to show that, all you're obviously interested in, was her body.

To everyone: don't get me wrong, I don't think Baragon should be banned, or cursed, or something. But his talent is being wasted on fanservice IMHO. I also realize perfectly that Lisa is grownup on his pictures, and that his pics are within the bounds of this forum's rules. Being an admin, I still have to make my point: pictures like that are not appreciated, they are simply too tasteless. 2Baragon: try to show someone's soul and feelings in your next drawing. You'll be surprized how different my reaction will be. Good luck with your art.
