friends need help to this project  do you like the visual styles to your copy of Win Xp? a day I decided to create material on Lisa.... perhaps a "Lisa visual style" or "LTS visual theme" but using original art for the work… (in others words our art) the visual style is not based on windows blinds or similar programs and for this reason it does not use extra RAM memory (  ) you have some ideas but the visual style? suggestions? images for icons? changes in the colors combinations? models to the start panel? any idea is accepted… when the project is finished .I send to you a copy of the visual theme well.. this is a screenshot ... enjoy ! (and thanks)  |

Interesting idea there, Gustavo! I wish i had some fresh ideas now but i'm kind of braindead.... thanks for including my Lisa-nyah there, athough maybe it would need some more transparency to avoid messing with the writings. Do you have already somnething in mind for the whole thing, or are you open to ideas? |

GustavoI love that "nyah" picture hehe, now, every time your click "Start", you'll make Lisa guilty for something. Really, an interesting idea. I'm still using Windows 98, so the only thing that can be changed here is the wallpaper image (and I'm doing that pretty often). But I like the idea anyway, and expect more screenshots! And btw, great choice for the "Logoff" and "Shutdown" icons! Especially the second one, aww

The shutdown icon is brilliant indeed! I don't use any styles at all, but merely the "classic" Windows 2000 look, but having a Lisa theme is surely very tempting. |

I'm still using Windows 98, so the only thing that can be changed here is the wallpaper image Serge. in Windows 98 is possible the use of icons to the PC folders and documents... and a part of this project is the use of news icons patience friend |

How did you do this? It will be nice to know. d'oh! well in reality is a work based is the original theme of Windows (LUNA) i only change the images (BMP and PNG) with the program Style Builder (and the DLL) and the configuration with the notepad of windows.... |

I've always thought about something like this. It's a great idea! I'd like to help, but I don't know much about making designs. I could give it a try, though. [I wonder if the theme might work on vista, too?]

Ah, man. I miss windows xp, or even 98, Ido hate this new pc with Windows Vista I have. It does not run all my designing programs and I hate swtching between pc's.

After a long time ... news! Well the Lisa Visual style (black version) is finished in a 70% ... But changed the thrust of the project ... I'm working since few weeks in modify the Beta of Win SP3 to create a "lisa OS" with the visual style, extra programs, somes changes in the register, Etc... ohh and the best motive (free ) don't activation key , or others "problems" of windows (or demons in linux) ... Work will be a slow and somewhat complex because I have no talent with computers and I need to wait for the official release of Win XP Service Pack 3... (in this moment I need included in the "bioLisa xp OS " the original windows Sidebar! (don't the imitations) ... but need IE and Alky for applications... Anyway I will give my best effort ... I need 18 months or 2 years to finish ...(and a lot of Lisa cookies..) (And study more about the Windows Unattendede editions, Resource Hacker and ) .. awwie sorry by my bad english. enjoy the screenshot! .... Lisa says: in This moment Gustavo is working in the optional PINK visual theme |

^-^ thanks Pablo! your can help me with ideas to the icons (in Windos Xp are 230 icons aprox.  and is a lot of work.. i need a lot of ideas and studie about the reshacker) in reality i'am waiting by Win SP3 to finish this project.. but by the moment i'am working in the Visual style, the programs, the icons , OEM info and in the edition of regedit to the performance in slow computers .... is only time... This fisrt image is of the GUI of Bio lisa working in my old PC (2.20Ghz, 256Ram 32mb video) the edition of the regedit and prefetch are the forte point there.. the windows flies and the second is of bubble screensaver |

@ Gary, Leon, Chris an Pablo Ohh thanks by the comments in this topic...Bio Lisa (or windos Lisa) is in reality XP service pack 3 with others icons , default themes, screensaver (the visual or GUI interface) ^-^ (ahh and too Improvements in the overall performance, and the startup time) .... I would have liked to work in Windows Vista (or Lisa Vista), but does not have much future, according to some rumours the next microsoft's OS will launch the 2010 (the next microsoft OS including a new Kernel much lighter and faster, much like the Linux kernel ... for the moment XP is the best option .... _________________________ However I have some ideas and I need your help ... I can include in the installer any folder with images ... Could include images of some artists of this site?. (by example the Lisa's CD bootable can included a art selection of this web ) but need your permission, I promise to include your data or biography... -________________________ (note about this screenshot....(0025) I need permission of the artist of this picture ... I have very bad memory and do not remember the author .... |
