SoulreaverPraimNot bad at all, SoulReaver, but there's some imperfections with smoothness of lines, that causes not so good impression. As if it was done with a haste, but why? And the letters could be even better with some blur too, right now it looks quite differ from other lines. ( D.B. - see the 363. GABF22 The Last Of The Red Hot Mamas  )

i dont understand the purpose of making pictures this way (ok this seems to be popular on all simpson sites but i still dont understand)..aside from bigger size, does the grabbed picture has anything the original picture didnt? you could take a black and white picture and color it instead, that would make more sense than just to copy an existing pic.....

Basically, grabpics can be used in designs, wallpapers, avatars and signatures and various other uses. These days most people are adding customisations into their grabpics, such as shading, more pearls, hard to see eyelashes and the like. You'll be surprised that my sig is actually made out three grabpics of Lisa and one scenegrab of Homer. |

Essentially, what you do is taking a framegrab that often has a mediocre quality, noise and unsteady colors, tracing the lines with a vector image program and then filling the shapes with solid colors, so it looks like a comic. These days, DVDs offer a far superior image quality, so even the framegrabs are rather large and clear, but back in the times when analogue VCRs was the best we had, a grabpic always had a much better quality than anything else that was available.
