I spent DAYS trying to beat frostman's level in megaman 8. I'm still trying to snowboard down that 2nd hill! It is so hard! Mad It is the ULTIMATE test of reflexes.

Frustrating... hmm...

The hardest game I've everplayed was 'Vanishing Point' because, its impossible. But I didnt really get frustrated about it.

The most frustrating time I've had on a video game is playing Unreal Tournament 4 for PC. Its so EASY until the very last match, which blows your head off.
It made me so pissed off that I was being beat by a potentialy easy game. My brother just did me a favour and told me to move on, since I was cusing loudly and banging the keyboard a lil to hard.
I've since completed it. Take THAT Malcom! You unsanitised dog breath hose eating purple fish bread monkey scratcher...

... I'm in an animal mood, I know.

Sudoku's reduced me to staying up at night with a shrinking pencil in my hand. Big Grin But the most frustrating video game for me is Okami, but I still love playing it.

Hegemonia. When I was buying it, they told me its a great game - "almost as good as Homeworld 2". So I'm installing and running it, and... going very close to vomiting. Tongue Ugly graphics. Inconvenient control. First ten minutes spent clicking everywhere and pressing every key on my keyboard trying to understand how to browse the status of my fleet and to understand what should I do to complete the mission. The first mission longs about 15 minutes, and you cannot make it any faster. Most time of it you just sit and look into screen waiting your ships to reach certain point. I bought the original English version of the game, because I don't like translations. But for some unknown reason all voices were speaking with noticeable accent that sounded very much like Russian one. Big Grin I strongly don't recommend this infamous game to anyone.

Boiling Point: Road to Hell

Playing it went something like this:

* Suusje starts the game
This game looks pretty crap and it runs crap too.. Confused
* Suusje changes the videosettings
Hmm... 640x480 with low details gives worse performance than 1280x960 with high details... Rolls Eyes

Hey cool! A car! Let's steal it!
* Suusje drives around
Hey! It drives way better and faster when you drive backwards... Eek

Let's drive outside of the first city...
* Suusje drives into the forest
GAAAAAH, stupid framedrops!
* Suusje tries to lag back into the city, but get's killed by the 'government' before even reaching it Mad

* Suusje uninstalls the game Smile

Far Cry, last level... Volcano. After weeks, i had to use a little cheat to go through (blocking a door with a chair so that at least i could have a way to escape back to a clean room for a breahter and some ammo). I broke my good old trusty Logitech MX300 mouse on that level, by throwing it against the wall Tongue

Also, Counter Strike in particular occasions can be real frustrating. Especially when you have to do with people that play in a very annoying way.

Mention of honor for the last boss of Garou-Mark of the Wolves. But i managed to beat him, mua ha  Twisted

All parts of Need For Speed I think since Hot Pursuit 2. NFS 5 is the best, Carbon is the worst.

Megaman 8: Swordman, Room 1. 4 rolling logs of spikes closing in on all sides. Small hole that must be slid through. Swing up with thunder claw. Avoid mecha-bats. REALLY frustrating.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter - Tusken canyon.

I don't know exactly how much time I spent trying to beat that level, being years behind me, but all I know was that it was too. much. time.

Hm. I spent quite a few hours on the final battles with Ansem in Kingdom Hearts 1 (which I STRONGLY reccomend to anyone)
The part that sucks is that you can't save once you hit Destiny Island for the second time. So, I left my PS2 on overnight.
The End of the World level is neat, but it's a death trap.

I also got a little aggrivated when I got Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge for PS2 (another good game)
when I got to the Vampire Brothers chapter. And I also had frustration with the last chapter with the Mega Oogie dance battle.

IMO, Kingdom Hearts is the BEST game ever. The last battles were so scary, I leveled up to 100 for eveybody, beat all the secret bosses, got the best weapons, equips, and filled my slots with elixers and megalixers before daring to try. Needless to say, it was too easy at that point.

Okami, but I still love playing it.
That's a great game. The talking script leaves a lot to be desired, but the graphics, animation make up for that. Basically, it's big, confusing, and I like it that way. A very good game, but I wouldn't call it hard, more like puzzling.

I was only at Lv. 51 when I finally beat him. I was a bit flabberghasted that I couldn't use summons or special attacks like Strike Raid or Ars Arcanium. I could have used those. Tongue
Maybe it took me such a long time because; ever since I got my Pumpkinhead Keychain I've used that keyblade ever since.
Since it's so awesome.Big Grin

I was around level 60 when I fought Ansem. Fighting Riku with the sword in Hollow Bastion was a major pain in the ass.

Whats worse, is fighting Kurt Ziza in Agrabah or even Sephiroth in the Colloseum. If there's one Keyblade I'd be after, it would be Ultima Weapon.

In Final Fantasy VII, I always have a problem fighting Emerald and Ruby Weapon, Ruby especially, because you could be reduced to one character. Emerald is Cake with Knights of Round though.

That Riku fight in Hollow Bastion was difficult. ( Especially when I'm the one relying on Donald and Goofy to help me. )
I've got that stupid cutscene memorized. ( So annoying )
I finally just took a two week break before trying again.

And, I CAN'T GET PAST SEPHIROTH. D:
Why is he so hard... bleh. I'll find a way.
For the Ultima Weapon, I tink you have to synthisize (sp?)
all 24 items. But I'm not clear on it.

For myself, Doom II's Icon of Sin.

I never relize how to kill Baphomet, the final boss. I tried to kill it with my best weapons, but no answer.

Then i know how to defeat it, I use my Rocket Launcher and blasted his exposed brain and I finally defeated the most hardest boss I ever faced in the history of Doom. Big Grin

I liked the music of that level: Opening to Hell. Tongue

For now he is very easy to kill. Smile

Hrm.....

Honestly, probably the last level in the original Blaster Master was the most frustrating (psychotically infuriating) level I've ever played.
