Post the moments from the Movie you liked I loved the moment when they started to narcotize Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie in the van. Bart's and Lisa's behavior was plain adorable: they both realize that they are being poisoned with gas, and what they probably will never wake up again, but they still spend last seconds and last powers to mock each other LISA: (holds her nose) Oh, way to go Bart... BART: You stink... LISA: (starts passing out) No, you stink... *Both fall on the floor, but even falling asleep, keep slowly kicking each other*

Without a doubt, the appearance of Tom Hanks I loved his segment in the show that the family was watching... and of course his bit at the end, "Hi, I'm Tom Hanks. If you see me on the street, please, leave me be."

I liked the very, very end of the credits where the squeaky-voiced teen comes by with a mop, and says, "Assistant manager isn't all it's cracked up to be." and "5 years of film school for this?". Hilarious. It wasn't my favorite part, but it was funny.

Doh! I managed to stay a bit longer when I last went to see it with Mat on Monday, saw Maggies first word but didn't stay after then. (Mat was right, he told me there might have been more! >_<) Anyway, fav moments? Got wayyyyy too many Although theres a lot of critism about this scene, I thought the one where Bart skating naked,...I just found it funny and I'm usualy one of those who finds naked cartoons disturbing, but I couldn't help laughing at that, it was totaly unexpected I also liked the smaller jokes too, such as Grand Theft Walrus Overall, my fav part of the movie has to be the opening, the Itchy and Scratchy episode, and Grampas, "senior moment" etc X) So far I've seen the movie 3 times and I'm not tired of it! Hopes she'll see it a 4th time some day

Also: the moment when people came out from the church and from Moe's bar. They looked at the dome, screamed and... exchanged places, people from church dashed to the bar and vice versa a great joke, and I never saw anything like this before, neither in the Simpsons nor in other shows/movies. It was new, and good And another hilarious moment was when Homer was hurrying the hounds. "Run! Run! Jump! Jump! Land! Land! Rest! Rest!" - LOL, it was brilliant, and very Homer-like. The third time I've seen the Movie, I was at the theater with my parents, and we all laughed out loud about that moment. Black_ravenHopes she'll see it a 4th time some day Same here But I don't think I will go to the theater once again - I want to see it at home, besides, I think the official showing is already over here. But I'm looking forward to purchase the DVD. This is something you must have

LISA: I never thought my life would have an absolute perfect... BART: Lisa's got a boyfriend that she'll never see again. <LISA PUNCHES BART> LISA: ...moment.
HOMER: Banana's are an excellent source of Potassium! <Trees punch Homer> HOMER: Americans will never embrace soccer? <trees punch Homer> HOMER: More than two shakes and it's playing with yourself? <trees hit Homer several times, the last one hits Homer in the crotch>
HOMER: Homer Simpson is gonna show he has cajonnies! <Homer superglues his had to his crotch>
HOMER: OOOOH! Floor Popcorn! LISA: Wait! Wait! It looks like Maggie has something to say! MARGE: Oh my god, her first word! MAGGIE: Sequel?

ALMLISA: I never thought my life would have an absolute perfect... BART: Lisa's got a boyfriend that she'll never see again. <LISA PUNCHES BART> LISA: ...moment. I also loved that moment, not only because it was funny, but rather nice, too. I doubt I could write anything on the glass backwards without making any spelling errors and the moment when Lisa was singing that short melody, and the background music has repeated it afterwards, was really cute IMHO.

Another brilliant scene is the moment in the Burns' Mansion, when Hibbert, Wiggum and Apu were trying to convince him to give electricity to the town. BURNS: I have two buttons behind this desk. One will supply your town with power, the other releases the hounds. Reach me. Make me your brother. HIBBERT: The hospital generator is about to give up. Lifes will be lost! BURNS: (slowly writes in his notebook) "Lifes, Lost." Go on. WIGGUM: We've got convict we're gonna fry tomorrow. But now we can't! BURNS: (looks interested) Tempting. Tempting... APU: Looks like all our reasons mean nothing. Just look into your heart and you'll find the answer... *Burns makes a pause, then releases the hounds*

Dagdamor LOL, yeah... I cracked up when Smithers started shaking his head when Apu said that. I just wish they could have had more of Burns and Smithers in the movie.

SMITHERS: They took everything sir... BURNS: Smithers, I don't believe in suicide, but it might cheer me up to watch...
HANKS: This is Tom Hanks, saying if you see me in person, please, leave me be.
And the classic:
HOMER: Spider Pig, Spider Pig, does whatever a spider pig does, can he swing from a web, no he cant he's a pig, look out he is a spider pig!

the one when homer was walking through the snowy forest, talking to himself. "shut up!" "no, you shut up!" that was hilarious..and the one with homer and marge in the new house. "we need more birds" - lmao..did anyone notice marge was wearing nightgown under her dress? that can be useful in the alaska climate;-)

I think the sweetest moment was when Colin wrote the notes on the glass. What girl wouldn?t fall for that?! *looks down at my feet* Their first encounter wasn?t especially believable, (shes not the kind of girl that faints for a man? or a boy! ) but the rest of the scenes with Lisa were quite good and she was represented well. I also loved the very end, when she was waiting to see if any animals got hurt in making of the movie... and the sigh of relief,,, Such a sweetie! Like G. Harrison said, I wish too that we saw more of Burns and Smithers. "Look into your heart" really made me laugh. Typical Burnsey moment. Pretty much everything mentioned in the thread was great. You are all awesome people, with awesome taste! Oh and "clap for Alaska"... and Spider pig... Whoohoo?

Marge looked sexy in that scene… Not sure if that was the intention, but she had a Marilyn Monroe moment with her white gown.

The moment when the Homer floated on an ice floe, in the form of heart has very much liked. Still, when Lisa "talked" with Colin through the Dome, then Bart has started to tease it, and Lisa has strongly struck it . In the end (In credits) as at a cinema, Simpsons sat, and the Homere when all already left, has noticed popcorn which have left, and the Homer has begun it is!

Mine favourites are: 1) Homer with a "chainsaw", when he realized, that people saw his saw What a weird and funny face expression he had that moment. 2) When Maggie tried to explain, that they can go out through a hole. Awesome face too, great characterization of her, incredibly done! 3) Homer floating on broken heart, which was already mentioned. Not very original, but it was very beautiful and reminding of heart shaped rock Homer gave Marge in a camp, when they both were little kids. Looking on him, listening to their love song, who can stop himself from feeling sorry for him, even if he was guilty and selfish as usual

I thought the entire scene from when Homer puts in the tape, to the black out was very well acted by Julie Kavner.

*Scratches head with a bunch of toothpicks*
Over a month since I saw it... I can't recall any better moments than what has already been mentioned, but still...
Homer: Run! Run! Run! Run! Jump! Jump! Land! Run! Rest! Rest! Now, I know we've had a rough day, but I hope we can put all this beh- *gets shredded by sleddogs before they abandon him* Aww, why does everything I whip leave me? =(
and of course the itchy and scratchy episode... as soon as the warheads launched I (and most other people in the theatre ^^) couldn't help but laugh all the way til the end of the episode... dunno about everyone else, but I just loved the fact that I could share Bart and Lisa's laughs in an itchy and scratchy episode! Gotta see it again while it's still running in theaters!

Great moments, people makes my desire to re-watch the Movie irresistible, thanks a lot Another moment I liked very much, was when Simpsons house got sucked into the ground. Nothing really funny or interesting, but from the technical point of view, it was fantastical, very well done. Of course it was solely made using CG - something we don't see much in the show, but it turned out well. I'm not sure how to explain... just to see all those family possessions spinning around, the house falling apart, to know how many objects they had to program, how many calculations they had to do to show that scene to us, makes me proud. That whole scene is a good example of cel-shaded animation. And the next thing Wiggum said, "They are China's problem now", made me laugh.

Some moments of the movie were quite nice. The dome sequence was probably the best . I loved the scene Lisa meeting with Colin. The Grand theft walrus is the game of the year. Is there four parts of it already?
