I'm free like a wind, and for almost a month! The feeling is great. Actually, I went on vacations two days ago, but only today I really felt it. Smile I will try not to abandon the forum, but can't promise anything (planning to go for some good rest to another city, and I'm not sure people know what computers are there...), so you please behave here. Well I had originally planned to use Rachel's "Taking a break from posting" thread to say this in, but now that there's a topic for it, I may as well say it here.

Next week (16 July - 23 July) my family and I are going on a vacation, and so I will not be at my normal computer. I'm not sure whether or not one of them is bringing a laptop with internet access, and if they are then I won't need to make this post, but if they don't then I'll just forewarn you all... I may be dormant during that week. So if worse comes to worse and this happens, it's nothing serious Smile I'll be back soon.

Hehe this seems like a good/useful topic
I don't break up from school for just under 2 weeks, (20th July)
but I won't really be around from then till the 26th, and then I'm going away with my family on holiday for 2 weeks then >_<
I have a feeling this will be a very busy summer holiday for me, I have a lot coming up, so I doubt I'll be around much, but I shall try to post and keep up when I can Smile

Actually, I have, and will be posting on and off for quite a while, as I keep going into, and leaving areas with internet connection. It probably won't be noticeable anyway, though.

I'm not in school or anything so I don't really have a summer vacation this year. Actually, I'll be starting my new job with Bongo Comics this summer.

My parents are making me go on a two week trip down south before the summer ends. I don't really wanna go though, because I know it's going to be so boring since we went on the same trip two years ago. Bloody hate travelling so far around this country. >.<

@ Everyone:
Enjoy your vacations! Even if you arnt leaving your own home, enjoy it anyways.  Cool

Myself has no plans this holiday. Hopefully be skating more, as well as going down south to see a special someone. Other than that it will be a spontanious few weeks at home.

Ahem, just wanted to say I'm in the middle of my vacations and doing alright so far. Smile
Using another account since I've managed to forgot my password at home. But finally, after several days of almost constant raining and storms there is some sun here and I've even managed to find an internet-cafe! (which is actually a two 486-looking like computers in the corner of a local post office.) I'm missing you guys... *hugs* hopefully, I will be able to appear here more often.

Ugh...
Unfortunately, the only "way out" in this city was closed for the whole weekend, so it's my first opportunity to post something again. Sorry about that - promised to post more from here but didn't do. *checks forum statistics, jawdrops* I hope it's not my inactivity made others to hide as well.

The weather is ultra-hawt here. And I mean it, I'm red like a boiled lobster, and you can't go out for more than a half an hour without risking to get a heat-caused brain damage. Ufff... Good sweet old Barnaul with its comparatively cold weather, I miss you soo much now... Big Grin

And about pictures - hopefully, I'll have some. I tried to draw, but without any suggestions from friends, without any examples/guides/references they turn out VERY ugly, so beware. Maybe I'll try drawing Burns instead, yeah.

Just finished unpacking stuff, have so much memories and emotions.
Also have some photos of the place I was in. It's a small sanatorium town in the Altai mountains, called Belokurikha ("Smocking White"). I can post some of them here, if you want.

Here's the promised photos. (sorry about the quality, can't figure out why they turn to be so blurred)
About the last photo: there is a ropeway, pretty high one, leading you to the top of one of the mountains. The view back down from it is... astonishing. I'll post more about it in the "feathers" thread someday. Smile

There also was a horse excursion. Beaten everything of myself that could be beaten there Embarrassed but I don't regret that, that was my first experience of "driving" a horse. No photos (maybe that's for the better), but I must say one thing: galloping, not just pacing or trotting, is very hard, you risk to land your head down on the ground any second. I have no freaking idea how Lisa managed to do that without any training. It's just damn hard. But I liked it. Smile

Welcome back! And those pictures, wow, you have some extremely pretty areas up there.

As for me, I've just returned from my vacation, and while I don't have any pics on me at the moment, I may be able to get some within the next week... not making any promises though. Anyway, it was nice to get away from things for a bit, but it's even better to be back. Hello everybody!

I'm only just about to go on mine, and I won't be back till 14th august
From tomorrow till Sunday I'm down in Dorset (South West England)
Then I'll be getting the Ferry from Poole to France where I'll be staying with my relatives at their new cottage Smile

whilst I'm at my Aunt's cottage, I'm sure there will be internet connection, so if I am aloud and get the chance to use it, I shall say hi to you guys, try to catch up on everything Tongue

My holidays are pretty much over... only been to ?land (Island in the southeastern regions of Sweden) with my family, which was pretty dull and relaxing. But I guess that was the point Tongue Piccies! Rented house. Wet doggie! Charge ^-^ Kalmar castle. Went for a guided tour, but the scaffolding on the outside from the renovations they're making really ruins the sight
