I had an idea for a Lisa Website Today, It's a Lisa FanFiction Site, Where people send in their stories about Lisa.

I would need some Donated Content e.g. Stories to start it off with and I would have to put it up with the Website space that I got for my Birthday.

Should I go ahead with the idea?

Fanfiction, has a LOT of waiting involved. There are lots and lots of great ideas for stories out there, and awsome writers, but they can only make a certain number of fan fics for a certain time. So most of the time will be collecting (and finding permission) older scripts to post.

It can definatly work, like Serge's 'Lisa Wings' project, only a few Lisa wing pictures at a time but its stil a wonderful site. Unlike Serge however, your space is very limited. You must be very dedicated.

Unlike Serge however, your space is very limited. You must be very dedicated.

Dedicated for time, yes, but for space, it can vary depending on the host really.

That's a tough question... don't you already have one site (about Monica)? Whether you want to work on two sites at the same time, or want to abandon one site for the sake of another one, either way doesn't sound alright to me. But decide by yourself. Smile

Not hosting limitations, I believe Casper meant fanfiction space... there are not too much Lisa-centered fanfics, and even if there are some, they usually get reads/reviews very slowly. Unfortunately, fanfiction is a slow thing. This decreases the purpose of such special site a bit imho. Besides, like George said, our Library already has a section for Lisa stories.

Er, actualy I meant hosting. I mean, as a birthday present it could be anything, 10 MB or a Gig etc.  Confused

But still, thats a good point. Centered Lisa fics are even harder to find.

Heh, in the case of hosting, on free hosts you're right. Kat already has 2GB space on my site she can use as she sees fit within reason. I can easily expand it if she wants more so no worries there. Wink

Anyhow, indeed, Lisa stories are hard to find. Unless Kat would write a couple herself as well, it'd still require alot of time...

If Kath's going to write several nice Lisa stories, that would be really great, but she wouldn't be able to be a busy writer and a website administrator at the same time. Smile Site is not that important, existing sites can hold Lisa fanfiction well enough. Good content is much more appreciated. Smile

Go for it, then. Smile Having two sites isn't anything bad or wrong, what I meant is... how to explain, everyone has a certain amount of dedication, and this amount cannot be changed much. So if one has one project, he dedicates all to it, if he has two, he has to divide his time and efforts, and each project receives a half amount of attention. At least, with me it's always like this... when I work on something, I forget about everything else.

Yes, I like the layout so far, it looks unusual and original. Smile Maybe it doesn't look really "professional" (more secondary details on the background and a bit of shading would help that), but who cares? Feel free to use my story (the link is in your PM box), the translation isn't perfect, but that's the only version I have so far. I only ask you to update it on the site once I have the better translation, I'll PM you about that. I'm also curious to see the design of your site's secondary pages.

P.S. You'll probably have to give your site a proper title. It's "New Page 1" so far.
