Okay, here's a thing I'm working on. It's a hack of Final Fantasy VI that will allow you to play as The Simpsons in Final Fantasy VI. Currently though only Marge is implemented (in the wrong place  ) as Celes, other characters include Homer as Locke, Lisa as Terra and Bart as Cyan. I'll also be editing some of the item names to make them more Simpson-like Here's a live shot of Marge as Celes in Terra's spot in the Narshe mines. I will be releasing it as a ROM so you'll need a SNES emulator when I do. |

ALMThat looks nice.  Did you draw Marge from scratch or used the already existing image? In both cases, she looks great, even if you just repainted her hair. Keep up the nice work, a new Simpsons game is always a good thing (especially a crossover with FF), but please don't abandon it again or I'll keep the legend of unfinished Simpsons games and their authors.

I'll try to figure out how to alter the characters, but Edgar, Sabin and Celes all use the same pallettes so I have to try and figure out how to give them new ones.
The sprite is just a colour edit for Marge, some of the other characters might need graphical changes in places.

The pretty much complete set of Lisa as Terra sprites.
I might change the hair to the spikes, but I sort of prefer it in the pony tail.

Not alot. ALMVideo is very beautiful... The moon, that little blue-haired Celes opening her tiny mouth to sing... Nicely done Yes, it's out of sync a bit, but still exciting. Touching tale of love... Except for the blue hair, thats how it is in the game. The Opera House is probably the most notable scene that Final Fantasy VI is known for. |

Yeah, I chose Marge as Celes automatically because Homer is Locke and due to game events thats the only combination that will work without it simply being "sick"

ALMHaven't downloaded the game and emulator yet, but read the descriptions. Nice work so far I hope there are more changes comparing to the original game rather then just text ones.

There graphical changes mostly so far with Skin and Hair except for Relm, so far. Only minor text changes have occured, the characters default names (Terra -> Lisa ) and the likes of Fenix Down -> Phoenix Down Pearl -> Holy Mad Oscar -> Malboro Revifify -> Holy Water I changed the originals to what they should be but Nintendo of America changed them because of their stupid censoring or to what they have changed to in later games (Malboro is one of those) Because each emulator is different I cant provide controls. But if you are going to use ZSNES, then the contols will be SNES -> PC A = Z (Enter) B = X (Cancel) Y = A (Change Party in Multi-Party events) X = S (Menu) L = D (Next Character / Multi Target) R = C (Next Character) and the arrow keys are the D-Pad |

I got a little bit bored the past couple of days so I decided to revive this project a little. I've now completed the menu icons that need changing, here's four characters, below the obvious Simpsons name is the real Final Fantasy VI character they're replacing, it's not included in the actual rom.  I did use a GameGenie to get those kinds of stats so I could get to the end of the game easily to test this far easier. |

I'm now going through removing as much of Nintendo of America's censorship and general stupid errors since back in 1994, they were really tough on it. So for me, Pearl rebecomes Holy. And other stuff that have since been changed in the later games like Final Fantasy VIII where Fire 2 became Fira and such. But Ice 2/3 and Bolt 2/3 has to become Icara/Icaga and Boltra and Boltaga due to limitations.  Not long until I can probably get another beta out. |

I got bored of playing Final Fantasy III, so I decided to play a little Final Fantasy VI instead. However, I decided to make it a little interesting and play my ROM hack. I remade the portrait images.
