I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies...

« on: July 21, 2007, 22:49 »

If anyone remembers little miss springfield, supposedly the first Lisa site ever, also knows that it has been down for about over 2 years, now. Alicia Tishenko, LMS' owner, has seemed to disappear from the net as well. I have some good news. Alicia is still around; she has a deviantART account, and she just updated it on June 2nd of this year [meaning she is still around]! This was a relief to see that she hasn't left the internet. Smile

Wow, is it two years already?  Sad  Anyway, KMS will stay online as long as I'm around, and I don't intend to stop doing that... BTW, what's the URL of Alicia's DA account?

Do I remember LMS? Of course I do! One of the best Lisa-dedicated projects in the Net, I wish it was still online... Sad
I'm glad to know Alicia is going on (I hope it's not a mistake, Chris, are you sure? I was trying to catch her online many times, but without success), even if she's not interested in LMS, it's still a very good news. And if she still likes Lisa... that would be great Smile

EDIT: I've browsed through her gallery... haven't found any connection between those photos and the Simpsons, also no mentioning about LMS or anything similar. Can anyone send her a private message (I don't have a DA account) to make sure it's not a mistake?

It is her account - I recognize her from the pictures. Apparently, she lost interest in the Simpsons altogether (for which I can't blame her, since my interest towards the show is on a minimum level as well; I'm not even excited about the movie...).

That's possible... If so, R.I.P. "Little Miss Springfield", I liked that wonderful site. Sad

Not to worry though. Y'all have a Lisa fix in the works. ;P

'Twas a good site though.

Actually, she apparently still has interest in the simpsons, because it says in the "Favorite cartoons" section of her DA bio, Simpsons and Futurama.

By the way, I already sent her a PM about LMS.

I hear about this site, but I was too late to visit there. Sad

This site needs one thing. It's called "The Resurrection" Big Grin Big Grin

Someday, this will happen. Smile

This was the very first unofficial simpsons site I ever visited. I liked it so much, every day after school, I would visit the site before doing anything else. It was really fun.

Ah yeah, memories from LMS...  what a shame to see such an important site in my life disappear. And although i appreciate ALM's effort, i can't but weep at the loss of such a great piece of internet. I don't think i would be the artist (and why not, the man) i am now if that site didn't exist.

Well, if it isn't obvious enough, without LMS, there would be no KMS. And most likely, I wouldn't be here (in the Simpsons community). I guess LMS was an inspiration for many dedicated Lisa fans.  Lisa
