A new Lisa-centric episode that was also quite funny and realistic with african-killer bees . Something I didn?t like in this was a smashing of Lisa?s bee farm . She also had a bee beard .

Dear native speakers of the noble English language Could you help, please? In this episode there is a moment, when Smithers is telling Burns about things happened during twentieth century, that Burns don't know about, like death of Franz-Ferdinand, WWI, etc. If anyone can tell, what was the two Smithers' lines before "European union", it'll be very helpful for making of russian subtitles. As for episode itself, it's not bad. Lisa acted quite strangely (lol @ scene at Moe's), but she was very brave and sincere. And there were touching moments with Marge, which show, how much she cares about her family and the future of the Simpsons. Too bad, the third Simpson girl, little Maggie, hadn't even a single frame for herself But there was Ralphie!!!

Burns part wasn't the best one, but overall, the episode was very good, 4/5 at least. It had many great Lisa moments, although wasn't really Lisa-centered. The moment when they nearly chopped off Lisa's head, was probably the most "thrilling" scene in the whole season.

It is a good episode, the scene in Moe's is strange but funny. The moment as this wrecking ball crashed into that little house was thrilling, yes. For the whole plot with the dying bees, I assign 8 of 10 points. And I know, a few posts before, I wrote that I would wait until they show it on TV, but this crackbrained broadcast station Pro7 repeats episodes that were showed a few week ago... Hrmmm

It's been a long time since I watched the Simpsons on Pro7. I either watch them in english on the web or in german on DVD. Wait a sec, I didn't even watch the whole episode yet O.o

BTW, the plot has a little goof (probably not even little, but I don't know much about bees), even a couple of goofs: 1. Lisa said that bees sting only to defend their place. But when bee queen sit on Lisa's cheek and Lisa (following Frink's advise) didn't let her go, bee should have attacked Lisa instead of forming a new colony on her. 2. When Lisa and Marge found that sanctuary, Lisa tells her bees: "Go live your life! Get off my face!" and bees fly away. But what about the queen? After starting a colony and laying new eggs (eww) she becomes unable to move, she couldn't leave Lisa.

For this I just say, cartoons needn't to be realistic...

Lisa M. SimpsonBut this is not really a cartoon, it's a part of the plot, episode script... it's made by real people, so we should be able to bash them for their mistakes! Besides, the episode was rather well-thought overall. I loved the joke in the end, with poor Burns being thrown into the millionaires club... "No, no, just kill me now!" The scene in the town hall was good too. Lisa should have to learn to use the same arguments more than once, in politics that's unavoidable.

It was okay, (best of the season so far)! but I felt the ending was out of place and they could have done better. I hope we see more Lisa and Bart episodes further in the season, I'm really tired of the celebrity/Homercentric episodes..

Episode had some good Lisa-moments, but think it was far from best episodes. This Club of Millionares is probably from Carl Barks Uncle Scrooge comics .
