CargoOfDarkness
Drawn by SpaceCoyote, but for some reason signed by Matt Groening.
Reminds me about episode s20e06, Merl Reagle and Will Shortz...
Even Lisa believed that the latter one was doing all the job Wink
It's drawn well, but I'm personally against mixing the Simpsons and realistic drawing styles. Especially like here - this comic has almost nothing from the Simpsons spirit in it, graphics-wise.

Read it. Well, a typical Halloween story, resembles "Clown Without Pity" (9F04) a bit.
But the fact they pictured Marge as a brainless pretty blonde... ewww. Lisa almost doesn't play a part in the comics, for some reason sits on her chair squatting, and looks like unfed skeleton... I don't know how to react, sorry Smile

It's a Death Note parody, you'd recognize most of the behaviours then. For me, that i am a fan of DN, the comic was well "mixed".

I got that (from the title of the thread actually Wink) but I'm trying to estimate a Simpson comic from Simpsons merits and from the point of characterization/treatment of characters. Even if it's a Halloween story, it still has to be good/interesting to be decent for me.
BTW, why it's in black and white?

I guess it's to look more like the original manga. Actually i'd say this comic is 30% simpsons and 70% dn. Smile

I have heard a lot about Death Note but have never watched/read or whatever it is x_X Been rather confused about it overall I guess but I admit, this comic gave me a bit of a better idea Tongue
I am pleased to see SpaceCoyote's work....though must admit, a tad predictable she'd do something along the Manga theme.  Not saying Mangas bad but I do feel it's a little over rated at times Embarrassed

Anyway, back to the comic...I didn't think it was all that bad, made me laugh a few times (eg: Flander's death was rather amusing), and as for there being no colour, I think the black and white helped in a way, made it darker and more dramatic Smile So overall, nice work...Thanks for sharing Marco! Cool comic, and I agree it was made black and white by intention to make it look like Manga.
And all the characters don't look that bad.
