Okay, I didnt watch the episode, but I saw it on Sky One and... I just couldnt force myself to watch it. It was the one where Lisa gets bullied and invents the bully repellant.

Its not the bullying itself that turned me away, its just the hideousness of the whole plot, I mean... 'bully repellant'..?

*turns over the Family Guy*

Heh! This is, actualy pretty good...!

Indeed, worst Lisa episode ever.  Sad  It's been a while since I watched the Simpsons, the last one has been the S19 finale, I think, which was decent, but not exactly good as well.

It was CABF11 Bye Bye Nerdie.
I agree, the episode wasn't too good, but... "worst Lisa episode ever"? I can remember much worse episodes involving Lisa as main character. The Simpsons isn't Futurama; it never claimed to be scientific, so things like "repellent against hooligans" appear there from time to time.
The only thing I didn't like episode is black eye Lisa gets there; but after watching "Girls Just Want to Have Sums" I started looking calmer on that. Smile In fact, that was the last Simpsons episode I watched, and I liked it a lot!
And FG is one big sh*t :-P

The last ep I watched was Lisa the Vegetarian. I love those prediction scenes.
first one: They don't have to throw it into my face. *lisa gets hit by burger*
2nd one: Comics are just for fun. You know like people getting hurt and stuff. *bart gets hit by door*
3rd one: I will pay [...]. When pigs fly! *pig flies in front of them*
and of course BYOBBBBQ.

Expect the unexpected...

The other day they had a Lisa double-shot during the usual 5PM block.

First up was:

She of Little Faith

To be honest I haven't seen this episode since it premiered and I am sorely disappointed in myself. This is a fantastic episode! I give it 5/5, and it goes onto my top 10 list for Lisa episodes. The interplay between Lisa and the rest of the family, especially as they try to bribe her back to Christianity hits so close to home it hurts. I too have become rather disillusioned with the religion forced upon me in early childhood, finding alot of the same issues with it that Lisa does with her own. I haven't made the leap to buddism quite yet, but I may have to take a closer look at its message.

That soul-crushing moment when even Maggie joins the fray and Lisa sees Lovejoy in the background saying 'Lick it... lick it...' was so good I could have sworn I was watching an episode from the first 5 seasons or so. But it ended nicely and when Lisa starts asking for the pony, Clip-clop, I couldn't stop laughing.

This was followed shortly by another episode I haven't seen in years...

Bye Bye Nerdie

Another fantastic episode, it gets 4.5/5. The thing that struck me about this episode is, it is one of the few possible situations where they can portray Lisa as the object of bullying and not outrage the crowd beyond reason. Making the bully a girl as well was a good move. The animation in this one was very peculiar, the shot to Lisa's face in particular almost looked as smooth as the movie, and when Francine throws her into the locker the expression on her face is so realistic... all in all a fantastic episode, as I already said. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is my sympathies towards Lisa. (I squirmed when she kept getting beat up...)

Oh, and that little scene with Nelson and the bullies? *as Krabbaple* Hah! Perfect! The scene that followed it shortly was really funny, where Lisa swabs Dreadrick Tatum with the nerd sweat and Nelson couldn't stop himself from punching the large man and eventually giving him a wedgie.

Nelson- "No! I'm sooo sorry! Please don't hit me!"

Tatum- "You leave me little recourse."

That episodes are really great. The last one I watched was Lisa's Sax... in german.
I couldn't stop laughing at the last scene, when Lisa reads the text on her new saxophone: "...may you have many more years of D'oh!" becaus in german the structure of the sentence is different: "...mögest du viele weitere Jahre von Nein! haben." and Nein! is the translation of D'oh!. So when she says "Nein!" it looks like she says "of" and when she says "haben." (have) she does the stretch-mouth.
Of course it's a great story, and a past episode, so I give it 10/10.
