A world without string...?! Is CHAOS!!

I need to have a listen to those live shows. I also need to get my ass in chat every once in a while. Ack! >.<

I late but, I love music. Smile However, a bit dubious about posting my favurates. I've pretty much been introduced to all the songs I like so much as of recently by friends here. But nethertheless!

Agalloch - Fire Above, Ice Below
Agalloch - Falling Snow
Rammstein - Keine Lust
Stone Sour - Come What(ever) May
Dark Tranquillity - Lesser Faith
The Absence - Worlds Divide
Soilwork - Follow The Hollow
Stone Sour - 30/30 150
Rammstein - Mein Herz Brennt
Soilwork - Distance

Hmm... probably not in that order. But if I mention anymore than that, I'd end up repeating errr, certain band names quite a lot. Smile This list is far from all my favurates, but I'm usualy quite stubborn to move into new bands, so my favurates end up being from the same band over and over anyway, just recycled. Tongue
So, thats it really...
Agalloch - She Painted Fire Across the Skyline
Agalloch - In The Shadow of Our Pale Companion
Agalloch - Not Unlike the Waves
Agalloch - Limbs
Agalloch - This Old Cabin
Agalloch - Our Fortress Is Burning

List would probaby cover every track. Damn you for conqouring my mind!

How about we take a selection of each persons favourites, say 3 each and I play them on a live radio show.

Would you be able to make a tribute to all of us by playing our 3 favourites person after person?
I would download a "podcast", or an mp3 episode. Smile
And besides, it sounds like a great idea. I would like to hear your personal comments on our song choices. Tongue

1. Wearing the Inside Out - Pink Floyd
2. While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles
3. Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
4. One Year of Love - Queen
5. These Are the Days of Our Lives - Queen
6. Time - Pink Floyd
7. A Day in the Life - The Beatles

By the way... did we ever decide on what we were going to do with that radio program?

Oh, my list need a update - I am so into music at the moment! Big Grin

I will make two top 10, because Pink Floyds songs would rule my list, so I just make a top 10 of all songs and a top 10 with Pink Floyd songs. Listen to them all (especially the one you donīt know), please, they are great.

Normal Song List:

1. Michael Andrews - Mad World
This song is my favorite for years. It inspired my for the characterisation of my novel character and spiritual son Cargo Of Darkness - and I love the movie Donnie Darko, too! Smile

2. Guster - Satellite
Uptodate - this song is just so wonderful and spacey! I never heard of that band and I think I will dig a bit for more songs by them.

3. Gorillaz - Man Research
Best Gorillaz Song (I am a huge fan) and the best dub song ever. Albanīs singing is just brillant, un-aesthetically (?) true and full of deep, crazy emotion. Take that song, take it and enjoy! Yayayaaaa-hahahaaaa...

4. R.E.M. - Losing My Religion
This song totally described my feelings after I lost my first girlfriend I was 5 years together with.
Build me up a lot.

5. Supertranmp - The Logical Song
Well, remember my LisaCon entry 2007 ? Becomeing adult and seeing the wonderful world out of different eyes and all that feelings - allways this song remembers me of my childhood.

6. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Yes, I like this song, although I am not very fond of the band Green Day... yay Simpsons Movie *sinking in poisen sea* Big Grin
This song just makes me feel confirmed when I am lonely.

7. City - Am Fenster
Best (East-) German Song ever! Donīt need to explain that, did that allready on a picture. Lisa

8. Aswad - Shine
This song absolutely describes my life-attetude!!!
Shine!

9. Olivia Newton John - Lets Get Physical
Did not post the official video, cause itīs full of sound effects and itīs rather funny - I just like this song moody and I love it for intimate hours. Also, ya know, I just have a heart for physical strong women. Wink

10. Ville Valo - Summer Wine
 Love

Pink Floyd List:

1. Pink Floyd - Coming Back To Life
This song was allways a good one, but never my favorite - but currently I have so strong feelings with that song, it describes my feelings for my old and my new love.

2. Pink Floyd - High Hopes
Deep and meaingful song with the best atmosphere a song could ever have. Pure beauty and lyrical masterpiece. Although the song is maybe about a certain story, I like to compare it somehow with my youth.

3. Pink Floyd - Shine On Your Crazy Diamond
(no video, cause I did not find a proper and full version, the one who is about 17 + 12 minutes.)
Just love this masterpiece of emotional and psycedelic music - it fights against "Echoes" for the top of the over-length masterpieces.

4. Pink Floyd - Echoes
Again no vide, you should buy the meddle album with the 23 minutes version (or get it elsewhere). A wonderful song with bizarr and fantastic atmosphere - for the time this song was created - it is still a work of pure art.

5. Pink Floyd - Keep Talking
Very meaningful song with great sound and a wonderful duett with Dave and the girls. THis song somehow reminds me of my father, who has strongly defending character and does not show his feelings to person he loves - he must feel like Dave describe it in this wonderful song.
I love my dad.

6. Pink Floyd - Empty Spaces (Movie / LIVE Version)
This song is actually not on the studio album The Wall - and I love this version as the best song written by Roger Waters - Brillant!

7. Pink Floyd - The Great Gig In The Sky
Wonderful, sad and emotional song with a women I never have heard singing that intense before. Hats up!

8. Pink Floyd - Time
*rrrrrng* Just classical and on of the best songs on The Dark Side Of The Moon. Love the song, love the music, love the lyrics!

9. Pink Floyd - Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun (Ummagumma version)
Donīt laugh, I seriously love this piece of song especially this version from the Ummagumma Disc. So meaningful lyric that is so inspirating - it is my personal theme for LunaStarshine. Smile

10. Pink Floyd - Welcome To The Machine
The most intense and disturbing song by Pink Floyd that describes a real badass feeling. Listen to it - full volume!!!

6. Pink Floyd - Empty Spaces (Movie / LIVE Version)
Actually the track is called "What Shall We Do Now". It was originally intended to be on the album "Spare Bricks" (which eventually became "The Final Cut") along with "When The Tigers Broke Free", the only other track used in the movie, but not on the original album.
