Few days ago, I've finished scanning/processing one book I have here - Bart Simpson's Guide To Life.
I know we all would prefer Lisa book, but... I don't have it yet. Embarrassed

But even that book can be interesting for you, because it's about all family, and very funny in places. I considered it a book for children at first, but then changed my mind - there is a lot of complex context, a lot of good hidden jokes from the Simpsons team, and a chance to look at the world from Bart's point of view. There is a lot about Lisa there, too. Smile

Previews:

Links:

The whole book scanned (CBZ) - http://store.simps.ru/books/guidetolife.cbz (40 Megs)
Separate pages (JPG) - http://store.simps.ru/books/guidetolife/

CBZ format is best viewed by the CDisplay program. But actually it's just a regular ZIP archive.

Have fun!

I bought that one a couple of years ago, and it's very a very funny book indeed, not only aimed to kids, but also to dedicated fans. As Serge hinted, you can find some nice Lisa-related stuff as well. Smile

Scanning a lot of paper requires a lot of nerves, for sure…
Thanks, Serge, for such an interesting stuff!

LOL, aww! Yes, makes you think and wonder indeed Wink
Glad to know someone has found this useful. I'm planning to order the Lisa Book soon; of course if I get it, I'll try and scan it as well. But, if anyone knows if it's already scanned and can be downloaded - please post about it here, I wouldn't like to do something that was already done...

Dagdamor
I have suggestion for you. I know how long it takes to scan one page of a book, especial when the book is heavy or big. I think the best way to do this is to buy a tripod and a digital camera, and then take picture of every page.
Also, do you mean this one: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/The-Lisa-Book/Matt-Groening/e/9780060748234/

Thank you for the book. I just downloaded.

I read "The Simpsons and Philosophy" now, but in German. It's an interesting book, easy to understand and with an even balance between philosophy and simpsons. It's sketchy for example in a direct comparison with "autonomy" or "free will" from Geert Keil, that's written in German too, but both books inspire me to read more about philosophy. It has my recommendation.  Smile
