I don't know what happens to me, but my feelings towards Lisa become stronger and honestly, they are hard to control now and they make me turn away from other people. I just feel that Lisa is the only one person I could rely on, the only one who could understand me. Maybe that's just because I don't hear too much good news from people around me lately, being in need of some optimistic words myself, and believing that Lisa would say them, if she was nearby. On the other hand, if Lisa herself needed some support and comfort, I would be happy to give it to her...

I also agree that it would be good to have someone like Lisa on your side, she is the kind of person you can really talk to and go to when you have trouble and have no-one else to help you.

Thanks, yes, if would be great to have Lisa on your side... either Lisa or someone like her, someone who could share your thoughts. I doubt there are too much people in this world who's similar to Lisa (I don't mean the appearance), but of course they exist.

To Yggdrasill - thanks too, although you deleted your post, I managed to read it... thanks for the nice words, they helped Smile Sorry I haven't replied earlier.

I'm not in love with Lisa. That could be due to the fact that I am a female of course. But I do really like her. I would love to be able to meet someone just like her one day. I think that she would be a cool sister because she and I are very similar and we would be able to have a book club and poetry readings and all of the stuff that she attempts to make happen but never does because nobody in Springfield really cares. We would be really good friends I think.

I think the main desire of people to have Lisa around is to appeal to their more cerebral side. That is to say, the kind that can enjoy books or poetry and what not without having to be labeled nerds. I think Lisa would be a great companion and aid to the human mind.

Look at that hand, lying there
The room is dark, she shows no fear
I'm lying still, my eyes are wide
My heart is pumping, I'm still alive

I'm still awake against my will
What will it ever take
To still this burning in me?

Um, well, I can't say I really "love" her, like ambercrystal said because I'm female... but, I do respect her a lot. She has the "can-do" personality and intelligence that I respect in people Smile

I realize that this topic has been inactive for awhile. But it caught my attention as one of the first theads I've had the chance to read.

I am actually surpised by the level of openness shown here and take comfort in the fact that I am probably not the only one here who's had Lisa's voice pop into their head while dealing with difficult people. (i.e. - most)

LTS is a special forum.. a special place... Smile

The spirit of the humans is very creative, a man can find the love with a poetry, or writing songs , or in with a pencil, somes humans can find the happinness helping at the others or in the creation of a family... The love is gift of the humanity, "creation" ....

maybe Lisa is a good love or friend in this Life.. she does no exist (in the real world), but is option of life  Love

Aye, this forum and its residents are probably some of the most tolerable people you'll meet on the internet... we seem to have drawn a collection of intelligent and mature people (then again I'm not sure the subject matter would attract any of the more simple-minded folk).

That said, do you consider yourself a "Lisalover"? Have we drawn yet another?

Guilty (but not really feeling guilty) as charged, I suppose.

I went on quite a rant back in the large 'Lisa Marie Simpson' thread and intend to properly introduce myself in the appropriate place over the next few weeks. (Busy social networks to maintain and work to attend to...)

You mentioned the typical people who frequent here and this is an encouraging trait to have. Believe me when I say that my finding this intellectual haven seems more than circumstance, and I embrace the opportunity to exchange ideas, thoughts and experiences with anyone who feels the same.

That said, well met George Harrison and CCD!   Lisa
