Cannot believe it is 7 years since that day that shocked the world. I still remember it fresh in my memory.

A friend of mine from NY (now arizona) did exhibitions in the tower lobby for many years, he lost a couple of friends and possibly other people he me while working in the towers. He did charitable work for the families after 9/11. That year i was due to visit him in new york and i have holiday booked for 2 weeks encompassing 11th september. He sad before my visit he would take me up to the observation deck. I couldnt raise money in time to th trip so I couldnt go. Spooky as i may of been in NY when it happened.

in 2002 I did a tribute animation for his an my websites. Sadly I lost the source files and never got time to update the animation itself. I have updated an intro page on the site with the correct dates. I wasnt a member here last year so I dont think I have ever posted it here.

My dad watched this animation last year for the first time and he was moved and said he was proud of me! That was a couple of weeks before he passed away!

I had only just begun my fourth grade year in school when my mom woke me up saying "Terrorists just crashed planes into the world trade center."

I didn't know how to react - the whole nation, and world for that matter, seemed to be in shock. I remember for the next few weeks it was all I heard about. On T.V., on the radio, a lot of it even spilled over into school. If I had only known back then I had just lived through one of the most historical events of the 21st century.

Looking back I can hardly believe seven long years have gone by. I've known people who lost family to this tragedy, and as an American, I can say that this is one of those things we will never forget. Nor will we ever stand idly by and let our nation, and its people, come under fire without some form of retaliation.

We are proud of who we are, and what we stand for. Those who died on September 11th, 2001 will never be forgotten.

While my respects go to those who lost their lives and their families, but are we really sure that it was really terrorists who did it?

It's probably not the best thing to discuss I'll admit as it has already been highly controversial, but there are various documentaries out there (Like 9/11 Loose Change) that can help provide thought into pointing the finger into other directions as the perpetrator(s).

I give my condolences for anyone who lost a friend during this misfortune.  I hope nothing like this happens again.   
Now, I saw that Marco did what he was suppose to do because of his admin position.  I'm recomending everyone not to mention anything political here because of an incident that happened.   In fact, I do know this *topic* will induce a lot of you guys into doing so.  Please AMIGOS keep that little monster inside of you to avoid arguments.  One political fight not so long ago, I believe, was enough for us to learn that.

The problem with LC and documentaries like it is that they will allways have been made by someone with a political axe to grind. Not calling Dylan Avery a liar, just saying that noone is innocent.

On Topic: I was at work the day 9/11 occurred. My friend came in and said there was an attack in New York and I thought he was joking. Then he took me into the rec room where the tv was playing and I saw the WTC on fire and I was all like 'What The Fuck?!'
