Well..I'm back from Ireland

(Obviously

)
It's really good to be home and in the next few days I have a LOT to sort out and catch up with, but it's all good

Except for my results in 2 days time x_x....that's the only thing I'm not looking forward to >_<
As for Ireland..well...nothing wrong with the country, some beautiful, dramatic scenery, even in the rain. I don't wanna go all "emo" or too deep but can't say my family got on 100% of the time...

..however, I'd like to go back to Ireland, probably with a friend or someone special next time...
Firstly, we went to Hollyhead in Wales and stayed a night there to get on the ferry to Ireland the next morning. Had a one night stay in Dublin..was awesome nightlife, though can't imagen it being everyone's kind of thing...but I enjoyed it

Especially the Guinness

Which I never really liked before till I tried it from a pub tap ^_^; The live Irish music and atmosphere was great as well as the food at Temple Bar

Guess I was drawn to Temple Bar since it reminded me of Camden in small ways. My only disappointment was not getting a good look round the goth stores X(
Next day we had a loooong drive down to the South West coast of Ireland and it took the whole day to get to our cottage at Sheeps head peninsular...was awesome!
We were in a great isolated location with a beautiful view and lots of space. However was 10 miles to town and back or to get anywhere everytime...but it was worth it imo

Unfortunately it did rain a lot but we did have a good sunny day which we found a nice big beach to go to. Also were able to stargaze that night once back at the cottage since there wasn't any light pollution. Probably my favorite day of the holiday....
Once leaving the cottage,..it went a little downhill...on our way up to the giants causeway we stopped in Galway but got there rather late. We didn't exactly have any time at all to look round it much. Saw a bit of the nightlife in trying to find somewhere to eat but we couldn't get parked and had to settle for a fish and chips down the road from the travel lodge..
Took 2 days to get up North to the causeway but, it was rather stunning. As for if it was worth the stress from traveling and arguing... I don't know...either way, was something my parents had always wanted to do and we got there...once we had our last day up at the North of Ireland at our B&B, we headed home, which took the whole of yesterday....
Guess I could rate the holiday as a 3/4...overall
My only problems was the weather...however it's not like we went to Ireland for the weather

But I do like hot, sunny weather with a light breeze, but we only had that once...otherwise the weather was a bit too changeable for me...>_<
Another problem was being stuck with my family for 11 days which once upon a time wouldn't have been so bad...however, this time round was rather upsetting

...
Besides those things, I had a good time and would certainly like to go back to Ireland one day

Oh, and photos to come ^_^
