I personally don't like long sets of rules with huge number of paragraphs which no-one reads anyway... so I will try to explain how we see this forum in the future, and ask you to support us in that. So our dream looks like a...

1. Calm and polite place, where members respect each other and treat others like themselves.
2. Place where messages are interesting to read, because they are literate, use punctuation and reasoned.
3. Sane place, where people tend to follow topics' subjects and create new topics in proper sections.

Please remember about these simple rules when you're going to post something. Let's make this place better, together. Smile

Of course the rules are subject to change, but we'll try to not to touch them without need.

I'd like you all to read especially the first "rule". It's what it all boils down to in the end:

Please, try to be respectful and fair to the other members. If everyone pays attention to this, there will be no need of further rules and restrictions.
Of course, the internet is a vast place with a lot of different kinds of people, so controversies can and probably will arise: these three simple rules are just a way to help this forum to become a place that all of us will enjoy. Me and Dagdamor are regular users and posters before being admins, and we would like to use our admin-rights as little as possible.

Remember, every internet community is made by its people.  Smile

Solving the Equation

The things that follows were decided together with Dagdamor and they're to be considered as an extension of the really lax rules we had already for the whole LTS (i hoped i never had to come to this but it was kind of an utopia). As rules estabilished by admins, they are mandatory, and everyone will have to abide to them. If you don't agree with these decisions, you'll have to live with them (but still you can contact us in private and we'll see if something can be sorted out).

So, taking as example the picture that TRJC posted that started this thread, and taking into consideration the discussion that was already brought forward with LisaSimpsonsLover, here's the decision.
Fan Pictures that depict Lisa (i'd say all Simpsons Characters but of course this being a Lisa forum, the rules are centered on art about her) in erotic situations, in underwear, naked or in otherwise "mature" context are accepted, although not encouraged, on LTS, with the following rules:

- No clearly underaged characters
- No explicit/complete nudity
- No strong feticism/violence/any kind of abuse
- No sex scenes, no pornography.
- A disclaimer must be put in the title of the thread (if it's a "gallery" thread, put the disclaimer in the subject line of the post)  as well in the post of the picture, it must be big and readable.

Ultimately, the admins are the ones that decide if a picture is acceptable or not, but if these rules are followed we're pretty much sure that no actions will be taken. In case one of the rules will be broken, admin sanctions will be taken (first a warning, then a tempban, then a permban). If an artist is unsure wether a pic is acceptable or not, contacting the admins first would be a good thing.

This thread will stay open if further discussions are needed, but the art threads must be kept clean from bickerings Wink If you have something to say that it's not relevant to the artistic aspect, then you can say it there.

Acceptability of Art.

Please behave as the mature people you all are. Smile
