Wow it's been a while...

I feel terrible for partially leaving this place...uni has almost become too much for me to have any sort of online life...I guess it's good I am getting out and about more social wise but it sometimes feels like I'm sacrificing my online friendships for it...

So just a general hello again really...a re-introduction Smile

For those won't didn't know I transfered to a different uni for this 2nd year of my course in Illustration in Cambridge - Anglia Ruskin. So far, so good Smile Really enjoying my time there and although it means commuting from home 3-4 times a week - I am gaining a bigger and better social life than last year - which is what I really needed.

We had a trip to Porto in Portugal early October - bonded well with a lot of people and really enjoyed my time there ( and the port and rose! Gigi)

So far all our work this year has been based on this trip. I've been animating but the final version is yet to be uploaded...will share it with you all once it is Smile

So...enough about me, generally...how is everyone? Smile What's up? Big Grin
and Serge - if you're reading...I hope you'll come back one day.

Thanks Carl and glad to hear Marco Big Grin

Yeah I've been very fortunate...in my first year at Glos we had a drawing trip abroad to Amsterdam and this year Cambridge do their drawing trip abroad in the 2nd year Tongue So I've been on two XD However I don't think I have anymore now but I'm not too upset about that Tongue

Tbh out of the two trips I definatly prefered Porto - better drawing weather and ice cream ;P Plus you don't get steryotyped as a druggy by telling people you were going on a trip there ^_^

Hey, you made it to Anglia Ruskin then? Neat. I'm renting a place just up the road from there near midsummer's common Smile .  I think it's a great fun place to spend time - for the size of town it's got quite a lot in it. Anglia seems a nice uni too (my brother applied there this year, so I had a look around on an open day).

Glad things are going well. I'm sure a way to balance your online/real life will eventually emerge of its own accord Smile

Hello and yes I certainly did Smile

and I know Midsummer's common Big Grin Went there for fireworks - which I thought were awesome as I'm used to much smaller Hertfordshire fireworks Tongue

It's a good uni - least what I'm experiencing so far - despite the work they're doing to it Smile My tutors are mostly friendly and the people in my class I've already made good friends with ^_^ I never particularly bonded with many people in Cheltneham Sad

The workload is starting to pile up a bit now that we're nearing the end of the term but for most of this term - I've enjoyed it Smile

Anyway, thank you and hope you're doing well also ^_^

Looks like I've got some explaining to do... Tongue

Well if any of you thought I died while on vacation in New Mexico, rest assured, nothing serious happened to me. I simply came back and got caught up in my day to day life. A lot was going on in my life this summer, and so unfortunately it pushed LTS out of my agenda yet again. Things didn't get any easier once school started this year, and I finally got around to taking AP classes, so those have kept me quite busy as well.

It's been a tough semester for me, not only because of school but because of some family issues as well, but God is still good Smile And here I am once more in the company of you lovely people! Hopefully I haven't missed too much in my prolonged absence... and a Merry almost-Christmas to everyone as well! Big Grin

Agreed, I miss Serge Sad He was always an integral part of LTS for me... I never thought the day would come when he would finally stop posting. But (and I think we've had this discussion already) I'm sure he's doing alright. Hopefully we'll see him again one of these days. Smile

The reason I'm worried about him is because he was actively posting then suddenly stopped even logging on and hasn't logged on since April.
