Yes, I remember that LisaCon still isn't finished, but artists already did their work for it, so...

SamuS (remember him?) offered to open a new art contest. The rules are really interesting, so I agreed. If LTS joins, there will be three forums (Simpsons- and Futurama-dedicated) participating in it. But we still need more people.

If you want to participate, choose your team and post about it here.
The Rules1. There are two teams - Simpson fans and Futurama fans. It is good if both teams have about equal number of members, although it's not necessary. What is necessary is the desire to draw your favorite characters in unusual role and/or situation.
2. Each team should draw certain number of pictures - the style, technical stuff, complexity etc is not important. (Just remember that colored picture, as always, is more preferable rather than a black/white sketch.) Each picture should show certain character in certain situation/role. After presenting all pictures, judges grade each and decide which team has won the contest.
3. The topic of this contest is "Mythology". Each character should be portrayed as one of the divinities listed below:
- Supreme Divinity
- Divinity of Seas and Oceans
- Divinity of Sky
- Divinity of Fire
- Divinity of Earth
- Divinity of Love
- Divinity of Underworld (not sure it's the right word... I meant "anything below the ground")
- Divinity of War.
So, each team should draw exactly 8 pictures.
Important: Remember that neither your chosen characters, nor their roles
may not repeat. That means that you'll have to use secondary characters from the show too. Which ones - depends on your team's decision. Also, remember that everything else - divinity's appearance, existence/absence of additional characters on the pic - is up to you.
4. Every forum's member can be a judge. After posting the pictures, there will be an open poll where everyone can vote for the best picture. Each vote counts as one point. The team collected the best score is a winner. Judges should try and make their decisions based on picture's quality, complexity, originality, and how well the character fits his/her role on the drawing.
5. The rules are subject to change.
And the last thing - this one is going to be really interesting, don't stand aside! We need your help, both teams

So post here if you like to participate, and which team you choose. Right now both teams have about equal number of members (I'll post the detailed info later), so both teams need more.
