Question for both teams: how many of you are able to finish by the August 1st deadline? There's been a suggestion that it should be extended, and I figure there's no point in most of us rushing. Also, I'm not sure if the deadline was announced earlier on the Simpson team but the first I heard of it was on the 22nd.
So, how's everyone doing?

I have to agree about getting 2 extra weeks, but I guess thats up to Dagdamor and Samus to decide. Working on a rush wouldn't be good for neither of the teams and it is obvious that work is eating most of our time.  |

i'm also quite hung up by the cvollar at the time. The picture is done and i'm making tracing but i wont manage to color it for friday, even because i've been asked for extra work at the evening hours...

Well, I've posted a request about prolonging the contest on ISFF. Asked for two extra weeks. SamuS didn't reply yet, he disappeared few days ago, but I hope he does until August 1st. But before he replies, please try and finish what can be finished until the deadline! Even if we'll have that extra time, you'll say thanks to yourselves because you'll have less work to do then. |

If we don't hear from SamuS by August 1st, may we assume that we have two more weeks? I'm quite sure that there is no point in rushing at least half the entrants here to finish for a deadline that wasn't announced at the beginning.

BebSure - if SamuS doesn't appear before the contest's deadline, I'll temporarily take his role and prolong the contest for two weeks. The only reason why I was against the prolonging is probably my curiosity - I can't wait to see what the Futurama team has created for the contest. I'm sure your pictures are perfectly competitive, but how good they are, that's the question...

I think I'll take those two extra weeks anyway, unless I'm supposed to submit my layout sketch as a final piece. Then again I think someone won a Turner Prize for something similar, so why not?
