Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been in here.

Anyway, I've got this idea for a story which I've been really interested in writing and have even begun writing parts of it.  Normally I would wait until I actually finished a story before announcing it, but I just wanna tell people about it.   And I figured you guys would like to know too, since it's a Lisa story and all. 

Okay, here it is, basically:

It's an AU fanfiction set in the future where an older Lisa falls in love with an OC, Mara Morrigan. (older too obviously, and I'm sure some of you guys remember her.)  Do not be alarmed, I'm working on rewriting Mara to make her a better character.  Plus, there'll be comedy, drama, action...   And there'll be song lyrics included as well.


I'm still ironing out the kinks, but I have a good feeling about this one.  What do you guys think? 

Eek... Is this Shock Therapy for LTS? 

Well, i think it could work, but i sure hope you put in some cool underground anime references in it, such as Naruto and Sailor Moon characters! It would be so kewl! And make so that at some point in the fic, the girls gain superpowers and can turn by their own willpower into half animal/half humans. Furries rock! 

As for the music, i suggest Avril Lavigne and Linkin Park. 





P.S. Hey, Dag's idea isn't half bad either, maybe we could have a "director's cut"!

Okay, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed a memo or something - good luck on writing it then. Though if this is centered around anime-ish characters and settings, then you've probably killed my interest. I don't know why, but I've always had an aversion to just about anything anime.

Well, technically, if the starting post was about a true thing, how can it be a fool? The thing works like this....
An April fool is when you say a false thing making it pass for true, and expects people to fall for it. You did the opposite and we fell for it only because
1) as you said, yesterday it was April the 1th, and we were on "fool warning" mode
2) you don't post almost at all into LTS, especially in the story section, so starting off with a story idea where Lisa turns lesbian and especially towards an ambiguous character that it's possibly unknown to 99% of LTS (but that i remember very well of being quite a "discussed" character over at gfc)... with song lyrics (?!)... well allow me to think it was very possible for it to be a joke. Basically, Me and Serge fell for it only because we had a certain "higher" idea of the standards of your fics.

In fewer words: you made my head hurt, thank you very much...

Keep writing then I guess? April Fools' Day is always such a confusing and frustrating thing for me, I can never tell if someone's lying or telling the actual truth I'm just glad it's over.

Hah!  Actually, it won't be 'citrusy' at all.   That's not why I started this idea.  I'm focusing on seeing if I can make the relationship work.  I think I can, but time will tell I suppose.
