The Latest Treehouse of Horror The first segment was just hilarious, and I loved the second one. I liked the idea of Marge being a hitman. She was also really sexy in that black dress. (I admit, I have a small crush on marge as well, but it is no where near how I love Lisa) The third one was funny, but I was so ashamed of Lisa being subjected to such torture, all she has ever done is good. I just saw this one too. It's a nice episode, although the second part was a bit pointless. Lisa looked very cute as a witch in the third part. Homer getting his head stuck in Ploppers behind was kind of meh, though... :S You have to admit though, that Mr. and Mrs. Simpson was pretty clever, although I didn't really like the idea of the entire storyline being a parody. However, like I said, Marge's black dress made up for it. rrawll!

YggdrasillThe Separate Vocations Agreed about the episode being deep and interesting, also showing Lisa from quite an unusual side. Why she was upset about her predicted future so much? I have a weird idea that it wasn't Marge way of living what made Lisa so angry, but maybe her reality was, i.e. being married to a man like Homer, spend most of the time fulfilling his wishes and dealing with his antics, etc. Maybe that was that kind of fate that Lisa was seeing in her nightmares. I personally also think that being a housewife isn't something bad or worthless, but I can understand Lisa if she's dreaming about more.

I don't thank that Lisa would want to end up being a homemaker. Obviously with her intelligence and talents, she wants to get very far in life.

Firstly I was about to watch the old good one "Lisa's Substitute". But because of....em "strange" dvd-disc partitioning I just come to "Bart's Dog Gets an F" instead. This episode has two main plots that rather interlace each other. The Lisa' one includes her falling ill with a mumphs. So she's about not to going at school some time. And through this unoccupied time Marge suggests her a new pastime. It's a needlework that turned to be an Bouvier's family quilt. This is a kind of family value of Simpsons and Marge shows Lisa how to do something really nice with only needle and a colour sewings at the hand. So then, after the events of Bart/SLH plot, this rug has been destroyed by silly dog and all the artwork is irrevocably gone. And that turns Marge finally to Homer's side. Since now SLH is about to be hanged over to a local businessman, who's employment ranges dog's area. Here I would like to focus your attention at the interesting fact. When Bart starts crying and asking Homer for not to send SLH at "dog farm", he meets a strong refusial from his father. And that's a kind of freaky moments in this whole episode. Still Homer's heart are always (almost) opened to Lisa's reasons. And when she speaks him: "Are you trying to teach us that the way to solve a problem with something we love is to throw it away?" that was a perfect evidence whose voice he'd prefet to listen more. Still Homer is not the one who will listen someone, but this time he really did that and I was surprised a little. This very episode is the one of the first where Lisa acts like a voice of rightness. Her character raised in a pretty big rate and even she has a definitely child' sides, she becomes that one who we adore so much now. At the close I would like to mention how nicely she did inspired her mother with a new quilt, only started. But Lisa says that to be a chain link means being not only an end of something, but and the beginnig of something another. I believe Lisa is such a beginning, not in common case, but in some...spiritual, a sacred meaning. For me she's like a seed that will bring some... new life in this world. Be it she herself, or it will be her future children, or her great dids that she's about to do. And there's no escape from this destiny for her.

Treehouse of Horror XVIII (the latest one so far). Enjoyed it, although the third story passed very abruptly (thus I didn't understand most of the dialogs). Flanders explaining Bart and Lisa about the Lust sin - that's definitely something new Oh well. The first story was probably the best one in the episode, although a bit predictable. Nice jokes ("I cannot believe that an alien who looked so evil has turned out to be bad!"), funny scene between Kodos and Homer in the bathroom (btw, does anyone remember that according to the very first THOH, Kodos is a female?), Marge welcoming the "jewish", the scene with fooling Bart and Lisa, etc. Not a bad story at all. The second story was quite decent too. *LOL* at the "call from an anonymous neighboreeno". About the third story see above

I watched tonights episode. I don't know the name, but it is the one where Lisa files a restraining order of 20 (eventually 200) feet against Bart. It is nice to see Bart suffer instead of Lisa for once, but I really like that she forgave him, something that Bart doesn't often do (though Lisa doesn't torture Bart much...much).

DABF14, "The Sweetest Apu". Just finished watching it. The episode itself wasn't something awesome, but it was original, featured Apu and Manjula again (I like those characters), and had nice jokes. It also had one very funny and cute moment in it - when Marge wanted to convince Apu and Manjula to live in peace, she asked Bart, Lisa and Maggie to play Ganesh. It was a cardboard, elephant-looking box with Bart inside, and Lisa and Maggie behind him, waving hands altogether. Of course Bart and Lisa disagreed about something, started to fight right in that box, and fell apart, then Maggie crawled away, wearing that box on her head. lol...

Watched "That 90's Show" the other day, and didn't like it one bit. Not only was it the first episode to blatantly disregard the chronological timeline established in earlier episodes, it was also chock-full of old reuse-reduce-'n'-recycle plot material: Marge falling for some rugged guy, breaking up with Homer, and finally Homer winning her back with a song -_- (way to inbreed "Brake My Wife Please", "Bonfire of the Manatees", "Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife" etc., FOX!). Homer's uninspired "Sadgasm" wailing was painful to the ear, and his Cobain-esque act smelled nothing like teen spirit. Even Weird Al's cameo couldn't save this train wreck. I do have to say the "Back to the Future" and "Sonic Sez" references made for a legit source of lulz. For me, it's KABF04 - That 90's Show, The only thing I will say was that Marge looked hawt! Quoted for Truth :3

2F15 Lisa's Wedding. It's funny how fast the time goes away... the year 2010 when Lisa's future life is shown in this episode, is just two years away. Lisa should be grownup long ago, but she keeps being eight Still, it's one of my favorite episodes, I can't count how many times I watched it. From all Simpsons episodes about future, this one also was the most consistent and good characterization-wise. Lisa looked like Lisa there, not like a victim of the plot. My favorite quote: HUGH: You've so thoroughly prepared me for the worst. As long as they're not squatting in a ditch poking berries up their noses... LISA: *worried* And if they are? Hugh was a very interesting character too; although I'm not sure if they could be actually together, it's still sad that Lisa and Hugh couldn't do it and left each other in the end. So it's more a sad story than funny, but like any Simpsons episode, it still had many moments where I was laughing. If I could rate this ep, I'd give it 10/10.

Dagdamor Ah, Lisa's Wedding... this has always been among my favorites. It really has a lot of great moments, both funny and tender, especially the ending.
