Creamed Cripes on toast, it's been a long while.

Yes, I will admit I've kind of been airheaded when it comes to checking in; I've also been fairly busy (School, getting job, loosing job, still more school, etc.).

As it is, I've been meaning to post this for a couple of months now; I'm sorry that I'm just now getting around to it.

'Tis a pic of Homer that came about after I'd speant my few waking hours one weekend playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.  I was also working the graveyard shift Friday and Saturday nights at the time, and somewhere in my sleep-deprived mind this came about.  I turned it out, colored it with colored pencil.  I'm pretty proud of it.

Aah, that famous game... glad to know that Russian book inspires people to draw Smile
The drawing is not a masterpiece, but at least it's colored. If concrit is allowed/appreciated, I'd say the drawing looks completely flat and the lack of background doesn't work for the picture, a little bit of work could help.

I was planning to draw a background when I started it, but got lazy.

As far as the picture looking flat, well, I'm not good at 3d effects with pencil.  I'd intended to try using it as a testbed for what I could do with lighting, but that got cut when I never bothered to do the background.  Oy.

Thanks for the con/crit, Dagda.
