Dag, you are a super admin, I cannot see how this should mean you should stop adminning the forum. I have made some real big clangers on my forum and have felt about jacking my admin duties in. If I had then my forum would of been closed long ago.

You ARE a good admin, you have kept the site running through some bad server problems and we would have this place if not for you.

What everyone seems to forget on this type of multinational forums is the simple fact. English is NOT everyones first language.

Even for the best non-native english speaker, sometimes the results do not sound like the author intended. While a post was meant to be loving, it can come out patronising, a post meant to be kind, can be cruel to others. THe feeling of the post can be lost in translation.

I know for a fact dag cares deeply about this forum, the commumity and it's members and I can see the reasons for the post clearly, does that make him a bad person, No.

Come on Serge, LTS isn't LTS without you. You're a great admin, and just because you worry (maybe a little too much) about low activity doesn't mean that we don't want you. There were some misunderstandings, but come on, can't we work through those? There's certainly no reason to let this tear us apart.

After I've read through some of what our other members have posted, and hopefully from whatever I've contributed, I think it should be apparent to you right now how people here feel about you, and LTS overall. This forum is a great place to be, you shouldn't worry so much about it. Come back mate Lisa misses you...

small activity shouldnt be the reason to be so anxious. you all would only feel only worse if the place gets spammed with meaningless posts from kids who all consider to be #1 fans in the world. take it rationally :-)
just wait some time.if the activity keeps dropping, raise the alarm. not before you sure youre under the treat of losing the forum.

I'm afraid it's time to post in this topic again.

I'm sorry for my absence again. I'd rather not to talk why I had to do it, because there's not so much sence, if only the misanthropy from my side.
And - most of all - I clearly realize that LTS is a _people_ first of all, their thoughts, not some ghostly image of an idea. All has its physical embodiments and our Lisa is first of all the people, who love her, who still care.

Has anyone noticed or cared that hadnt posted at all in the past week or so?

My laptop died and had to be repaired, and I got it back today.

Expect the same to happen over New Years when I fly away to the SMF Meeting of the Minds in Tucson.

Do what you think is best dude. Dont let stuff get you down, and I do agree that staying calm is always good, (one of the reasons I made the rant thread, to blow off steam), but none of us truly know what you are going through. So only you can really decide what the best course of action is, I hate when people take stuff to heart, which is Why I always like talking in person, sarcasm can be heard not typed ^^.

In response to the apparent unpopularity of this forum, dont panic, Its nearly christmas, people are gonna be too busy with that kinda stuff, family days out, that kinda stuff. Besides, this is by far the best forum I have ever been on, regardless of subject, image or people, this is an awesome place. The amount of ''high octane, full on conversation'' found in most forums is like being smashed repeatedly with a piece of heavy mining equipment upside the head. My brain physically hurts. Here, its  a thoughroughly enjoyable experience ^^.

Im not just gonna big the place up, its up to all of us to help out. As for the low activity..... Ill be working on that.
