I am on winter break, I had a project for broadcasting class. I had to create a "radio station", with a mix of DJ chat, music, and commercials. Well, like my economics project which I posted here, I just had to slip Lisa in. As a result, Lisa plays a part in the stations "storyline", so i thought you guys would be interested, in which why I am posting it here.
I don't know where this belongs, so I posted it here. I don't know if it counts enough to be posted in the Fan Fiction section, as the "plot" doesn't really revolve around Lisa. As for content, I guess this would be rated PG-13. The songs, nor the DJ chat has no foul language, but some of the humorous ads contain the word "bitch". Nothing here is worse than you would see on an episode of The Simpsons.
Here is the link in which you can download it. It was too large to attach on the boards, as it is an hour and a half long.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1QYYIF8UIt has a nice nostalgic punch, as it takes place in 1997, and plays adult contemporary music, with two DJs. I did all of the voices of the DJs, while I compiled the ads and music from various sources, as attributed.
Anyways, it is hosted by "Chad Henderson". He has a small southern accent, and is kind of nervous and uncharasmatic, making it humorous of why he landed this job on the radio. Along with him he has an unnamed weatherman named the "Hip hop" weatherman, who is very brash. His dialogue is composed of the weather dialogue from the Playback FM DJ from GTA: San Andreas, or which I pulled it from. There is also a small "newsbreak" pulled off of GTA: San Andreas. After a commercial break, a new DJ with the name simply with the name of "Christian" takes over, who appears to be perhaps a teenager, with a very nasaly and squeaky voice. He reveals that he has a dangerous obsession with Lisa (A parody of John Hinckley Jr, the man who attempted to assassinate then US president Ronald Reagan in 1981, and his obsession with Jodie Foster), saying that he sent her ten poems and twenty letters, each with his address and phone number, but surprisingly, no response. It is suggested that he took over the radio show as an attempt to get her attention, and perhaps a response. He then threathens to blow up Homer's car to get her attention (unbeknown to his knowledge that the car belongs to Homer, or that he even is Lisa's father), and dedicates a song to her, all in hopes of getting her to call the station. He receives a call, but it turns out to be a worker at the Shady Pines Mental Hospital, who accuses him of being an escaped patient. He denies this, only to have a worker from Shady Pines break into the studio and haul him away. Just after that does Lisa call into the station, but doesn't get an answer. (This is using an edited version of that Lisa call to Virgin radio also posted here). The Chad Henderson is reinstated, and everything is normal, and the radio show continues to operate as normal.
The show also includes some "requests", one from Moe, and one from Lisa.
