and tomorrow is the independence day of my country! 199 years of story Smile in this siide of the world, the celebrations are big and happy, a lot of alcohol, barbacues, "cueca" (the traditional dance) and "ramadas", the traditional celebrations, included a time with the family and eat and drink a lot, nothing special but the atmosphere is always very nice because in the streets the people always salutes at the others, the kids play with comets, and other very simple games, is like return to the past Big Grin

and they enjoy it, because we are proud of our country and his people, we are not perfect of course , but in one or other way , Chile is a nice place to live and with a great culture, since the legacy Inca of peru and bolivia and our "North"... at the cowboys (huasos) of the south, since the north and his desert at the south and big forest and places with snow all the year... a contrast, Chile is a country of contrasts... and South America a beautiful garden...

of course you are welcome, Smile

and as the people of my country says: ¡Viva Chile Mierda!

*giggles

yay!

That's nice news, Gust. Especially if taking into account the fact that now I'm ill though on the vocations (that's a misfortune!).

a lot of alcohol, barbacues
I don't like alcohol almost in every single way, though I'm a russian. Smile Vomiting till the 4:00 AM is a usual situation for me. And then feeling exhausted on the next day - that's why I hate such parties.

Yeah, we are kinda proud... too about our country. Big Grin

PS And by the way what's your nationality? Are you really the offspring of that ancient Indians? Smile Embarrassed

I don't know if this is a new to post in this thread, anyway let me share it with you...

since tomorrow 24 of September I have under my control at a  employee to help in my lab,  I am a solitary guy , and this create stranger feelings... I don't have the attitude of a "boss" ... really I am a very simple person....

I have 24 years only and this is my first experience about this theme... anyway I am happy too because can teach at other person about my work, and this  is a big help to my hyper busy work stuff in the schools.... (more time to draw) ....

She is a nice woman of 29 years anyway , and this create more stranger feelings, because I am a lot more young (in the comparative I look as a kid x_X)  ..

*sighs...

anyway I need learn to work in this type of scenes...  Smile ... well tomorrow is a long day too...

weird eh? -____- anyway is the life....

and thanks at God my health is better in the last time... Tongue, just with antibiotics but all is ok...

ok... a warm hug to you! bye bye my friend  Star

Booyah! Just got an admission offer to do my doctoral degree next fall! And just when I was beginning to think they lost my application. =P Time to do my little victory dance. Tonight's Thanksgiving dinner will be extra special!

EXCELSIOR!

The only downside is, I'll have to move again. I hate moving -.-

Well done, 08! Glad to hear that. Hope to see more "big yays" here and further. Smile
As for me, I can say that just today I've lefted the hospital, where I was getting through an operation. That was a pretty easy one though (a section on stomach), so there's no reason to worry.

Thanks Shadow Nait! It took two months to put together my application portfolio, and I'm so happy it did not go to waste. (Getting five recommendation letters from my old profs was the hardest part -.- Am I glad THAT's over!)

Good to hear your operation went OK! I've been under the knife once and even minor surgery can be scary. Happy recovery!

P.S. Make sure both kidneys are accounted for. =P

Congratulations, 08. That must feel nice, having anything that big accomplished in your life. Smile I'm sure it's just the start.

Also SN, glad to have you back. Now you have a cool scar to show off too! *envies* Tongue

Hi everybody! Smile

I was a little bit absent recently because I was taking a quite big exam (my final exam actually).
But now it's done, I'm not a student anymore and I don't know yet if I must post this message in the yay thread or in the rant thread Tongue

I'll begin a five months training course soon so I hope it'll give me more time to start drawing again Lisa

Loic
Good news about you. I'm glad you finally have reached that line and nothing bonds you now. Also it is a critical and hard moment in life, so I hope you'll get to your feet pretty soon. And will be in limbo only for a short time.
