Okay, people... Finally, I coloured one of my previous drawings! Hooray! I coloured Mr. Squashable, because it was easier to colour... Well anyway, I gave him a new look. If you remember my previous pic about him, you'll notice the new look. Here it is:  P.S.: One foot is still bigger than the other :/ |

I'm still a bit behind  my fav of your recent though has to be Homer going home, your drawings are getting better, in my mind it's season 1-2 standard but it gives it more charm  , ( I find the new completely-on model stuff to not have enough "character" emotion wise) To me this was spot on! Poor Homer  Guess I'm a little bias cos in all honesty, chipmunks arn't my thing , but the drawings/colourings are coming on nicely Mr. Squashable suits hoodys  Nice stuff from you still |

Thanks, Gustavo and Rachel ^_^ Ah, since I call you guys by your real name (I can, can't I?  ) you might aswell call me by my real name too. From now on, you can call me Tiago if you like, if you want to call me El Barto, that's not a problem. (And this goes to every member) ^_^ Anyway, thanks again I thought the green colour on his hoodie suited better his personality. And what I like more about the picture is the eyes  Anyway, I don't think I'll be colouring the other one so soon. Exams are almost here and if I want to pass the 9th grade I really have to study. My parents promissed me, I could go to England to visit my uncle if I passed the 9th grade so...  And I still have a science test and an history test. So... Thanks again. |

I remember when you first came here and started posting your drawings. They were much rougher back then. The angles were a bit odd, a trademark of beginning artists. I'm not seeing that much anymore.
You're becoming exceptional at coloring them, and the character's expressions as well. Keep it up.

The coloured version of Mr. Squashable definately does do him justice........ fantastic Look forward to seeing more of him when you finished your exams.... good luck with those btw! The coloured version's looking great. And green's my favorite color, so all the better. Perhaps just for the sake of complaining, I'm not sure where the light source is located... the shades are looking a bit uneven. Nevermind about that, go study for your exams and good luck! You'll get all A's if you study hard I'm sure! (= |

The colours are great on your new picture, very professional. It is amazing how quickly you've learned all this, the line art is also well done! Just the final few hurdles, which include shading and proportions to master now. Oh, and possibly backgrounds, a personal favurate of mine. (despite my last picture being set in space)The colours you've chosen for Mr.Squashable suit him a lot. Particularly like the colours you've chosen for his head. GeorgeHarrisonThanks, man. EmpethreeI hope I pass my exams  Especially Math. I suck at Math x_x But I'm confident about my portuguese exam though. My history test went well Science and Chemistry didn't go as I planned x_x Oh well, I still have 1 one of those to do, and I hope I get a better grade ^_^ Although I haven't recieved those tests yet, I'm expecting a low grade -.-' Oh well. I don't know how far Gatwick is from Brighton, but if it's not too far, I'll give you a shout KasperI'm still a beginner at shading But, I'm glad you liked my pic overall CasperThanks. I'm planning on making a website (at least trying to make one -.-' I suck with HTML codes), and maybe I'll make that little character the mascot for my website. Anyway, thanks again.

Gatwick is north of brighton by about 25 miles.... Crawley my home town is on the London > Brighton Main road... often visit brighton myself lol. Often sitting on the beach browsing the internet. There is free wireless LAN on brighton beach between the 2 piers. http://preview.tinyurl.com/4u37xcGatwick is just north of crawley marked near charlwood. |

I have a new piece of art! And I still haven't coloured one of my previous drawings... I'm a bit lazy so I haven't coloured it... So, I have a new chipmunk for you! I saw this style on deviantArt and I decided to try and draw something with a similiar style... I drew this for a friend. He wanted a picture of a chipmunk character he invented. Here it is:  I'll colour it when I stop being so lazy |

The expression in the character is wonderful! the expression is actually the most complex part of drawing and painting, This is door of the spirit of a real artist (and not a single sketcher) ... thanks for opening this first door ... congratulations!!! and pleased keep drawing... you need more practice and patience is somes point about the model of your character...but the life is long and you are a great artist! see ya Tiago! |
