I know that I'm not the first one who made a Lisa cookie, but I resolved to make my own Lisa cookie when baking Christmas cookies, and today, I spent some hours in the kitchen, making "regular" cookies, and finally, our all-time favorite Lisa cookie.

I started with a print of Lisa's head, taken from one of my grabpics that I created for KMS, and a patch of cookie dough.

After cutting out the paper, I "traced" the outlines with a kitchen knife.

Now I carefully removed the overlapping pieces...

... but that was only the easy part. It was virtually impossible to get the shaped dough on the baking tray, so I had to start over, rolling the dough right on the tray.

Let's start over...

... and done! I was getting a bit exhausted after spending three hours in the kitchen already and rushed it a bit in the end, but it worked.

The very last reminder of the dough got equipped with some almonds (I didn't want to "tag" the Lisa cookie this way, though), and the tray was put into the oven.

Ten minutes later, the cookie was ready, and it got a nice golden crust, and smelled like heaven.

Another careful procedure to get it off the tray was successful.

Et voilà, a genuine Lisa cookie!
