...or what Springfieldians mainly remember about her:

1. She presented governor a Springfield Flag saying "Learn To Fart".
2. Called America Cesspool on the Potomac.
3. Gave drugs to Bart, put him into wheelbarrow, rolled him across the town unconscious, then thrown him into mud.
4. Tried to defame Springfield's history and its founder.
5. Called Springfield Church "the whore of Babylon".
6. Advised Burns to build a factory processing ocean creatures into fuel.
7. Loves sweet to the degree of wallowing in cakes.

3. Gave drugs to Bart, put him into wheelbarrow, rolled him across the town unconscious, then thrown him into mud.
Did she really gave Bart drugs?
* Suusje can't remember...

6. Advised Burns to build a factory processing ocean creatures into fuel.
I don't think she did. She told Burns he should cut open the plastic canholders so the fish wouldn't get stuck in them and then Burns used the canholders to make a net to catch fish.

7. Loves sweet to the degree of wallowing in cakes.
She tried to starve herself into shape and got a bit crazy of hunger when she saw that cake. I wouldn't really call that "loving sweet to the degree of wallowing in cakes".

More facts about Lisa:
- She's yellow...
- She has 2 eyes...
- She wears a pearl necklace...

Lisa did some very questionable things, true... but a lot of these points you said are misinterpreted, taken out of context or just merely deviated Wink Suusje posted some nice counterparts to your points... instead i'll try to add one too Big Grin

8) Lisa's rivalry towards Allison broguht her to do a very mean action (stealing/replacing her diorama).

Anyone else?

9. She also stole the teacher's editions of the school books and hid them in her locker - for which she could have been expelled or severely punished, so Bart took the blame for it (which is one of the greatest things he did for her Smile ).

@Suusje: She also wears a red dress, and she plays the saxophone.  Lisa

.... Ill have a bash.

?) Lisa found out the truth about the bullies hatred for 'nerds', as it was compiled, there was a chemical inbalance of what was found to be 'nerd sweat', which contained the problematic chemical, thus, sending the bully into a rage against said student. Which I think is a beautiful way of saying show them no fear, and they will get confused ^^, truly a statement for the modern world.

?) She is quite literally, the nicest person in the world ever, and I mean that most sincerely ^^.

I agree with everything Suusje brought up. So I won't repeat it. But,,,,

"4. Tried to defame Springfield's history and its founder."

Well.... She basically wanted to reveal the truth about Jebediah Springfield, because she values truth, not because she wanted to defame anyone. I think that's quite clear when she decides to keep it to herself, once she realizes that it would hurt many people.

12) Stood still for periods of time can cause confusion between Lisa and peices of fruit/sea creatures.

*Old Lady grabs Lisa's head while in the grocery store*
Old Lady: "A pineapple! Really ripe too!"
Lisa: "Hey! I'm not a pineapple! I'm a little girl!"
*Old Lady puts Lisa in her cart*
Old Lady: "That's what the pumpkin said too!"
Ralph: "Hi, Lisa! We're gonna be in a pie!"

Hehe, most of you have misinterpreted the topic's purpose as it seems. The facts I've posted in the first message, are how *Springfield* accepts Lisa in the show, not how we do. Of course most of the facts were accepted wrong by people of Springfield, for example the third one. (Thanks to Lovejoy and Homer. Rolls Eyes ) But my point still stands, everyone else accept Lisa not like members of this forum do.

And in the end, this topic was a joke. Wink

Don't care) Led an underground resistance movement and taught the theory of evolution to people when it was banned, creating possible free thought, God forbid.

I know that she goes to any extent to fight for what she believes. Such as when she ruined Homer's barbeque by stealing the pig (some of the funniest simpsons quotes are in this episode-HOMER: It's just a little airborne... It's still good, it's still good). So, she does go to extremes, but she always has good intentions. But Dagdamor is right. She is not seen by Springfielders the way she is seen by us. To them she is an annoying little girl who is too smart for her own good. That may not be entirely true, but she is definantly not appreciated. To us she is a smart, sweet, caring girl full of integrity and self respect-dieting episodes aside.
