So many so little time, and space...
The drawings that have most impacted my time online (and probably my life) have been drawn by all sorts of people. Friends, people I dont know, and even people who I no longer get along with anymore...
I dont think anybody is a proper Simpsons art nut, until they've fallen in love with a picture/pictures of Marco's. I can browse the main SR gallary and sit in awe of all of these technical, emotional, inspirational pictures... To pick a favurate is like picking a single favurate feeling. Because each picture has its own unique feeling. I simply dont have the vocabulary skills to describe so, I'm going to pick
the entire main SR gallary as my first choice.
THE first Simpsons fan art websites I ever found, was
Saxomophone of Capadde's. One particular picture that changed my entire perception of Lisa as an eight year old girl was Capadde's picture
Older Lisa. Opened my eyes to a world where Lisa didnt have to be restricted to the show's default image. Another of Capadde's pictures that inspired me was
Looking at the Stars which, I just loved then and I love now (And Marco's colouring which, goes without saying).
(sorry for hosting these images, and having them stored on my computer. Feel free to beat me half to death twice)Then theres Ekko (Martino) who, sadly left art behind, largely because of me. Back in the day, he'd draw a brilliant picture and I'd love it so much, that I'd colour it for him. Without boasting too much, we made a great pair. One of our most proud acheivements was '
Smarmed' (
sketch), which shows us at our highest technical peak. Something we dreamed of beating, but neither of us could probably ever match.
Then theres the peak of our friendship, which undoubtably lies in the picture '
Ekkos Rival' (
sketch). I always wanted to get him back for this but I dont think I'd ever be as artisticaly talented as he was. So I did the background for him, coloured it and we called it even.

Thats, a time of my life which I really wish I had back. Its a bitch but, life goes on. Gotta keep up with time or it leaves you behind.

Anyway, hope I wasnt too offtopic. Those are images that changed my life really.
I'm 19 and already turning into Grampa-Simpson, droning on about the good ol' days...
Edit: I didnt actualy read the favurate
LISA images part, but they all seem to be Lisa-ish anyway so... score!
