Oxygene IV!
Yeah...  X_X Horror films don't really scare me, but these things gives me nightmares. Love the music, but weird music combined with bizarre videos is scary stuff! Can't stop watching the things though, they're just that interesting. Tongue (yay for David Firth and Cyriak Harris!)

Not exactly one song, but rather a mixture of parts of five songs - guitar solos. Five amazing solos by Mr. David Gilmour, I found a video of them and thought the montage was pretty well done.

David Gilmour - Five Amazing Guitar Solos

Solo 1 - Sorrow by Pink Floyd (A Momentary Lapse of Reason)
Solo 2 - Raise My Rent by David Gilmour (David Gilmour)
Solo 3 - Near the End by David Gilmour (About Face)
Solo 4 - Money by Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon)
Solo 5 - Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd (The Wall live in 1980)

Look at that hand lying there
The room is dark, she shows no fear
I'm lying still, my eyes are wide
My heart is pumping, I'm still alive

I'm still awake against my will
What will it ever take
To still this burning in me?

7.) "Where The Railroad Meets The Sea" by David Sylvian
8.) "Somebody Up There Likes You" by Simple Minds
9.) "Telstar" by The Tornados
10.) "Marooned" by Pink Floyd

I got into this album lately and it can't get out of my head, it's so frigging awesome. There's a nice long instrumental closing the album which is imo the best metal instrumental i've heard ina long while.

It's some sort of folk-finnish epic kind of thing, i would really see it as a background for films like Lord of the rings Big Grin

It's 16 minutes long so it's divided in two parts. From the 4th minute onwards, imo, it's just beautiful all around.

I saw the movie "Unforgiven" at the beginning of the month. It was good enough to make its way into my top ten favorite movies... but I expected no less from Clint Eastwood, as both an actor and a director. This simple but poignant instrumental piece is played at both the beginning and the end of the movie, set to a scene of William Munny (Eastwood) standing over his wife's grave (shown in the attached video)...

It is strange, but I remember a girl with a saxophone and an attitude much like this melody... Lisa

This is from an old Italian show that coupled classical music and cartoons:

Sad Waltz, by Jean Sibelius

Please look carefully at the video too. I dare you not to shed a tear or two...

I hear that theme a lot at work almost every day.

I was going to post this once before as i think it is quite a good piece.

I do like the bass on it along with the "twinkly" high notes!

For those on Vista or mac: Here is the theme music. Ignore the instructions on screen and use gustavos... chose this youtube video as seems to be one of the better quality clips.
