Important:  Because of my limited time all my months for this year are going to be used for 2008, not for 2007 like I was originaly planning.  I'm really sorry, but it is better to get the months before it passes , than after that month is over.

Well, I think a dedicated 2008 calendar is a good idea, and somewhat better than to start somewhere in the middle of a year. Maybe the artists could try to finish their pics for Christmas? The calendar would be a wonderful Christmas present for the LTS folks. Smile

I think it is a good idea to have more than one artist per month.. since if there are any gaps there is a replacement peice, depending on what the picture looks like though... I mean a picture of a christmas tree wouldnt work in November.

Omar, I dont think I can do this in this amount of time. I havent drawn anything for a month, havent coloured anything for three. I just think we all need an explained and agreed plan B. Confused Or maybe I'm just paranoid and thinking it will go wrong like two years ago...

(The Real Joe Cool's peice is just awsome however)

I would love to take July; but it looks like it's already taken.

It was inevitable Smile 2007 is almost over now. I'm not sure if we won't have to switch from 2008 to 2009 someday Tongue but let's hope we won't.

Anyway, about JoeCool's contribution... despite that I only see the small preview, it's obviously a great drawing, with nice subject and thought-out details. Well, I didn't expect anything else from him Smile Looking forward to see the full version someday, also for the more month pictures by other artists! Please feed the fanart-starving child inside of me Big Grin

>.< I'm going to have to drop out of the project this year because I no longer have any art programs to draw in like Photoshop. I have openCanvas, but I can't really make fully inked and coloured pictures in that...

Sorry guys =[

Aw, Vicky Sad it's sad to know that the absence of proper drawing program prevents you from participating in this beautiful project. But no matter what's the reason is, thanks for showing interest anyway. Maybe you'll find the possibility in the future and contribute to the calendar, I will look forward for that. Smile

In order to give more time to the artists and for my own time limitations, the months will be presented as they arrive. I present you January.

Thanks Joe for this wonderful image which only shows how talented you are, and wishing you a happy new year, Joe, whatever you are.

Happy new year everyone!

I present you, The Real Joe Cool with January:

Ohh, that looks great! I think Jessica is a rather popular character, but there's not that much fanart with her, apart from some guys who drew her quite often. Wink

By any chance, do you have a version in 4:3 format, so I can use it as desktop wallpaper without cutting either half of the calendar, or the characters? Or just release your (Photoshop?) template (with layers), so I could do it on my own?

Anyway, thanks a lot, the calendar thingy was really a great idea. Smile

Terribly sorry about february, but our resident  Laguna was not in the position of doing one since he was about to go to the armed forces.  Best of luck for him.

I'll try chatting with Syke for March.  until later yellow friends! Smile
