MaggiecuteI was hoping you added more to the plot, although adding more details is also a nice change Please check the very first word in your story. Everything else seems to be alright. Open me a secret, are you going to reveal to the reader, why Maggie has become normal in the end?

MaggiecuteI like your poetic emotional style. Easy to read and full of life, and of course, nice work with details like blueberry popsicle description I wasn't very curious why she became normal in the end because Mag's feelings are more important in this story, than actions and you've descripted that well. But something in her story looks weird for me. For example, I doubt she can remember all what she felt when she was 4-years-old and think about it in so tragic way and comparing "chatty and joyful girl" with herself after that (Lisa & Marge, for example, forgot many things from their early childhood). Also, if all family members know sign language, why Lisa "licked invisible popsicle" instead of showing special sign. And why Maggie wrote about Dr. Hibbert's words like she herself heard that... I just know too few about deaf kids, never communicated with any of them, that's why from my point of view kid who become deaf in such small age wouldn't suffer so much from this, especially so cheerful one as Maggie was.

Well to tell the truth I don't know the sign for buying ice-cream, but someone could have explained it all to Mags.

I do believe that i have been a bit unfair, hoping that people will readd my stuff and comment when i don't for others. i am going to change that. Starting here with MaggieCute's story. Over all it is quite good. It can sometimes be very difficult to Write in first person perspective. you have to be able to describe so much more through the eyes of your characters. I personally try to avoid it as much as possible due to the level of description that is needed, but you pulled it off quite well. I am a bit of pain when it comes to some things, especially when reading other's scrips and such, punctuation and grammar are those things. for some reason i can see it more in other people's work . On the grammar front there is quite a bit that I would fix, but I can understand that it can be hard to spot the first time you write something like this. The Popsicle description was done expertly. You could really feel that she enjoyed something in the midst of her trouble. I do also question how she suddenly gained back her sense or hearing. I speculate that it could have been something in her brain. The synapses could have started firing again in the sound center of her brain or something of the like, i would like to see that portrayed in the story openly. I do believe that you could do a bit more with it and fix a few things but overall it is very good. 7/10 on my scale. If you want some help on the punctuation and the grammar, feel free to PM me, as of late I have been doing a lot of writing and such, so i would be glad to help.

Again not too bad. I do hope that you will reveal what it was that she had, it would make for a bit of a longer story line too.

I don't think i can do a complete review of this, because after a bit i kinda lost my eye for the "technical" aspect of writing and was sucked in the way you decided to bring the story forward. Your approach to this story is so simplistic that it works even better than making a full 100 pages novel about it... it's all straight to the point, it all makes sense in Maggie's memories at the end. Sometimes yes, it does look a bit rushed in certain parts, imho this fic is like a little glimpse into a whole life (Maggie's). I like how you decided to let questions unanswered, in the end, reading this gives a wonderful sensation of warmness and of optimism. Thanks for writing this

I didn't really fancy writing 100 Pages :0! I wanted the Simplest Aproach I could without leaving out to much detail. Thanks!

MaggiecuteI keep procrastinating with your story and I apologize for that I hope later this week I will be able to re-read it and write a proper review. *weakly hopes someone will do the same for his story, too*

Maggiecute "What I pine for" has touched me, with such a poignant atmoshere (in places) that I can't get rid off the feeling that I read LF once again (sorry for mentioning other's work in your thread). The whole plot looks quite interesting though there's no dramatic or intriguing action and all seems to be like a personal-dairy recording. Girl tells us about the feelings herself and that should be metioned too, because there's always more labour to create your own vision, own feelings for venting it in a story, from the my pint of vision I don't know how could she recover her health and that's not so big matter. Just it's pleasant to see the good ending. What to say more.. I like very much Lisa's warm relation to her sister, though I can suppese that there's no other alternative from her side. The moment with imagined popsicle really nice, gotta see it somehow! Thanks for sharing!
