http://babysimpson.co.uk/index.php?page=twins

This is my fic which has a slightly different timeline, first off, Lisa & Maggie are twins. Which will explain a lot of things. Tongue

There's a second draft so read that instead of the first. Tongue There's a few bits of art hovering around on TCB, and some DVD stuff as well.

I so need to get that 3rd draft typed up. Tongue

Just a little question... is there the second draft anywhere in the prose format, or only the script format is available? Because... well, you know my hatred towards scripts, even if it's Simpsons fanfiction Wink
If there is no any, I will download the script version... but I can't promise I will read it to the end. Sad

Nope. No prose for the 2nd & 3rd drafts. I find scripts better. Tongue

ALM
Read your revised story today. Nice work Smile
As I can see, you didn't change the plot much, only fixed some questionable moments and added new parts. Some of them are... very sweet, I must admit that Smile especially when they are performing on the stage. I'd like to see Lisa singing "God Bless the Child" while Maggie is playing.

What I liked: it seems to be a good, complete story, nicely built and also well-formatted.
What I didn't: the plot about Bart getting into the prison still confuses me a lot Wink
What I've found questionable: you used several official songs and dialogs from the show for your story. But that seems to be intentional, so I guess it only makes your story more "special", what I usually like.

Gary, if you want to see "The Simpsons Twins" in the LTS Library, please post a .doc version here as an attachment.
Overall - very good work, maybe more "accurate" than "creative", but still very good. LisaMaggie

That was the idea.

You can just steal my bandwidth, I dont care, I have 1TB worth. I'd prefer it if you did, (direct link is http://babysimpson.co.uk/staff/gary/twins2.doc) but I'll make an attachment anyhow, though I might not update it in the future.

ALM
Yeah, I know I could just link to the story on your server.
But if you post it here, the library engine will be able to calculate the downloads/replies count. Smile
Thanks for posting it.

By the way, what about splitting the story into several smaller pages - I mean the online version on TCB? I just noticed that the page is 100+ Kb size. Or at least add a page compression, you know where to find the script. Wink

Include the one on my site as a mirror maybe?

vX makes navigating areas of the site much more efficient, the actual file itself is 76kb in X, the other stuff is the design. The thing could do with splitting into several chunks or something... I dunno. I have other things I wanna do first. Tongue

I just readed your story, ALM.

I almost started crying, what happened to Maggie at the end.
Lisa has a good life, I don't know, what happened to Bart.
Homer died by getting gasoline in his mouth and Marge....I don't know that either. Smile

Good job!! I really like that story. Big Grin Big Grin

I was going to write a sequel where we saw how Maggie died. (I did write that part, and it's available on my forum somewhere. This one would've been canon.

What happened to Maggie is shown at the beginning of course, this whole thing is explained through Flashbacks. Tongue

Maggiecute is writing another sequel that isnt canon, called the Simpson Twins: The Next Generation, and I was gonna write another non-canon story: The Simpson Twins: Time Travellers but decided not to.

"character Assassination" Is even when the writer kills off the character Smile The writer of a fic is a god, what the characters do in it it's still his doing  Tongue

Anyway, i'll surely read up on it!  Smile
