Might as well start off by saying this is MAGGIE! Not Lisa Tongue I know my works confusing but I'll let you know I only draw bows on Maggie Wink
Anyway, this finished a bit late as I have been pretty busy and alot has happened over the past few weeks that have prevented me from finishing this picture so some of it is a little rushed unfortunatly...
Anyway, enjoy  Tongue

Awesome picture! Nice use of color, the tree looks very good and creepy, Maggaggie (Tongue) seems to be on model and the sky and mountains look great Smile

I have a few nitpicks, though. The path seems to be floating in the air, because there's no grass hanging over it. And the grass looks somewhat weird on some spots. But otherwise it's a great picture! Smile

Wheee!! Halloween does have good sides Smile Pictures like this!  Big Grin

Like I said to you on MSN, its hard to tell her from Lisa, but it can be excused because of the amount of detail added to the background, and the creepy effects that make this pic noticeable.
Like the swirly tree branches, and the spooky writting. Looks very good Smile

I'm almost looking forward to the next Halloween for pics like this Smile... almost Tongue

Oh, finally we get to see your art on LS, Black_Raven Smile And i must say, what a nice start!

Maggie looks pretty and deliciously evil (and yes, she works better as a witch than Lisa Wink ). The dark backgrouns is awesome, with very good details throughout, although i agree with Suusje's nitpick about the path not having overlapping grass. About Maggie, nice detail on her, her hair is lovely... the shading on the dress is very "dramatic" and convincing, and the dress in itself is nicely detailed, with all the loose ends Smile . Besides, her expression is the best Big Grin. One nitpick that i might have about her is, well, not about herself: it's more that the lightning on her is a bit too bright and clashes with the background. Maybe it would have been better making darker shadows on her for more halloweeny touch.  Twisted

Last but not least, i just love the way you wrote Halloween!  Smile

Whoo, scary! Maggie is certainly a great choice for a witch, even the producers of the actual show portrayed her like this a couple of times. The path looks a bit artificial indeed, but the rest of the pic is simply great. The graveyard looks very convincing, and even if the tree is somewhat "artsy" with those curly branches, it's just the right amount of oddness to get into the right mood. Also, the usage of Mars as a Halloween moon is a great idea, shifting the whole image out of this world, and producing a wonderful, yet eerie silvery glow on the mountains in the background.

Hehe thank you all for your feedback Big Grin
About the critique, I've realised I should of proberbly tried to cover the path more so, that can easily be edited if I can get round to it ^^ As well as added shading.

Also, about the "moon", I'll be honest I didnt make good use of my photoshop brush there, technically it was supposed to be the moon but, I couldn't find one with craters so I rushed it and used any old one Tongue I didn't notice it to be Mars till you mentioned Andreas  Embarrassed However, guess it dosn't matter too much if it adds to the pic Big Grin

Once again, thank you all for the comments and critique ^^

Nice picture. The choice of colors is excellent. But, I can further review this pic by quoting a line from "The Far Side", "The eyes... There's something not quite right about those eyes.". That's the only little tiny detail I didn't like, that her eyes seemed to pop out in this one. Kind of distracting, but not to the point that I'll stop looking at this great drawing.  Maggie

*LOL* at the skull bowtie Tongue
The drawing is awesome! I can't find anything to nitpick on, and the tree is simply great. Maggie looks very believable as a witch (that hat suits her)... and nice and interesting expression, too. The moon looks incredibly well done - if you did it from scratch then kudos, but if you used the existing picture or photo, it's fine, too Wink again, awesome picture, and happy belated Halloween to everyone!

Heh, now that's funny.  Big Grin  I guess nobody would have figured out that it wasn't the moon, since it doesn't look very "martian" anymore. But of course you can't deceive an amateur astronomer. The dark structure in the middle is the Valles Marineris, a huge canyon of about the size of the USA (from the east coast to the west coast), and you can see the three large volcanoes (the dark spots in the upper left corner). Anyway, nice usage, it really adds to the atmosphere. Smile

Being a Physic's student I kick myself.
*kicks*

I honestly thought it was ze moon  Gigi

Knowing that its Mars, accidently or not, it does give it a mysterious effect. Which, is not a bad thing Smile

Suh-weet.
:B
This makes me wish I would have done something more for Halloween.
I like Maggie's expression. It's like, "here kids, want some candy?"
I like her sleeves, too. I have gloves like those. Big Grin
