Well, I had two since quite some time, but now that my brother didn't need the third one anymore, I though I could put it on my desk as well, rather than having it taking up room on the floor. Wink Usually, I only use one, but for some cases, two are very nice to have (i. e. when editing pics in Photoshop etc.), and now I'll have to think what to do with three of them...

Hot triple monitor action! Tongue

I've used 2 monitors for a while but I really couldn't find any use for the second one so now I'm using 1 monitor again. 1 Monitor with a high resolution is much more useful to me than 2 with lower resolutions.

I was using a 17" LCD and a 17" CRT which had different screensizes which didn't make it very pleasant to look at. You have 3 almost the same monitord which probably makes it nicer to work with.

And you should at least get a 4 MB GFX card! You should try to get a PCI version of a Matrox Millennium G450 or G550. Wink

@Suusje: Yeah, all monitors are 17" CRTs, so the size and resolution is the same. One large TFT is probably better indeed, but you need the money to buy one first. Wink I do have a Matrox Millennium G450, but not as a PCI version. I used it for many years as my main VGA card, but unfortunately, the 3D functionality is rather limited, so I rely on my GeForce FX 5700 at the moment.

If I had three monitors connected to my PC, I'd use different wallpapers for them all Smile
Nicely looking, although I can't think of much use for it - well, maybe having a TV screen on the left, PHP/MySQL manual on the right and everything else in the middle... on the other hand, the amount of simultaneous information would probably blow up my mind :/ So be careful! Tongue

Well, I said I would ONE day and, I did Tongue
I was really bored...no, was actually trying to find something else to do BESIDES History homework >_<
I did 1 out of 3 bits though! Honest!..anyway, been sorting out pictures on my computer and remembered about these pic threads, so, got out the camera and tried doing a tour of my room...Gigi

This is probably as tidy as it's going to be for a long while, and I'm aware I'm in some of the pics where there's a mirror X)
So,..little explanation for each then...they go round in a circle, to the right, first starts off near my door...

Room 1) Basically, a big mirror that once belonged to my Grandma (RIP), my school work junk, make up junk, and a overcrowded note board Tongue

Room 2) Moving round, big wooden wardrobe, at the top theres the monopoly game I last played with Mat when he was here, and forgot to put it back properlly! >_< There's also a old simba plate I painted, and a watercolour painting of tigers on the floor that I still yet have to hang up on the wall. (Was by an artist I met, Paul Dyson, and he was an amazing artist Smile)

Room 3)
Just my old bed, big Simba's still wearing Mat's hoody that he leant me. Gigi Blanket on bed now since, it's getting colder >_<

Room 4) Pics on my wall, mirror, miny Tardis money bank Gigi (Thanks to Mat, again X) ), more make up junk, pumba and cd player Tongue

Room 5) REALLY needs sorting out Tongue but I'm proud of my big 3D Doctor Who poster Big Grin and my basket full of stuffed Simba's and Nalas ^_^

Room 6) TV, Music, skateboard, clothes in pile Gigi, compoota

Room 7) Computer again, DVDs, big pretty TLK poster Big Grin

and that's all, pretty random and lots of odd bits of junk lying around but, can at least say I got it done now Smile

I know it's cluttered, got so much stuff I don't even use and needs giving to charity shops etc
however, my rooms usually one of the tidiest rooms in the house, guess that says a lot about my family then Tongue
However unlike Marge, my mum has a busy job as well as my dad, both my brother and I have school work, so the whole house tends to get cluttered easily x_x

I do internet radio broadcasts, so one is my playout machine, one is the server and the other I use to check incoming messages. Although the black laptop is now been replaced by an iMac... Luckily I am a computer technician and i get perks that mean i get machines sometimes very cheap indeed... as with most of my equipment lol The imac i got for £179 (still sell on ebay for about £600 and my other laptop (3Ghz P4 with 1gb ram and glossy screen) was £74. I tend to er.... fill my house with junk.... next stop a good graphics tablet... drawing with my mouse is tiresome.

Okay, well today I toyed around with my digital camera for a while and took some pictures. So I can finally say now that I've got a picture of my room for all of you to view... it didn't come out very well, although there's only a minor blur. Yeah, there's lots of crazy random crap in my room Tongue You can see my CDs all shoved into the upper shelf, and yeah, those are all seven of the Harry Potter books next to them...

And-- hey, look what's on my computer screen... Wink
