I made the screenshot when I started reading the new posts. Some minutes later I saw that CCD! used to have the same background picture, which is kinda fun.
And there's even a story behind it: For the last 8 weeks I went to another school in K-Town because I thought it was better. (Now I go to school in a small town named Alzey again.) One of my classmates (who was also new to the school) is always happy and always wondered why others weren't. She also has a yellow pullover with a smiley on it and the words "keep smiling". I found this picture on the internet and thought she would like it, but I knew that she doesn't have a computer. But I like her lifestyle so I made it my wallpaper.
The other things on my desktop that aren't standard are the icon for my hard drive (upper-right, with the apple on it) and the trash icon in the dock (Pig crap). But I have them like that for months now.
I also have an extra screen, with my avatar (well, it would be my avatar if it worked) in the middle of it. There's nothing else on it, so I'll just post that pic.
It's Lucas from the video game MOTHER 3 (EarthBound 2 in the US) as he appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl - he's my favorite character in this game, his moves are hard to manage, but if you can control him, he's very powerful. I always win against my friends when I play him, so they make me choose another character.
And the M stands for Maléfix (or Max
). It's 3 years old but has changed a little since then. My roommate at the boarding school in K-Town told me that it looks similar to the
Wutang symbol.
and since then I call it the Mutang. (Before I called it Maléfix-M or M-blem, but M-blem is the name of the Mensa logo.)
