Looks like you also have Vista, except yours looks a lot more interesting than mine and I have the "gadgets" on the side still I'll add it anyway though ^_^ |

Yeah, I had to customise the system a little, I altered the computer icon to Maggie's head as made by a friend of mine, I changed the Localhost shortcut icon to Maggie's bow, removed the shortcut indicators, altered the colour of the taskbar a little, changed the desktop, removed the sidebar and made my standard six folders that you see in the top right corner.
Basically minus the Computer/Localhost Icons, I tried to make it resemble my XP set up as much as possible.

I bet my desktop will be the most boring one here. I don't like having too many icons on it. The nicest thing is the desktop picture itself - right now it's Andreas' wallpaper. Your desktops are all so very beautiful. And nearly all you seem to have converted to Vista... Mine is so XP'y, and not remotely so artistic... but boy I like my wallpaper;-)

I think it only comes with Vista, sorry But then again, I don't really know much about Vista x_x Only recently got the new computer. Anyway, kinda interesting to see other's desktops here, some more cluttered than others, whilst some seem to be completely empty I think I like having a balance of not too many icons, but not too little, but I guess that's my preference |

I'm loving some of these uploaded ones, look great, and very personalised to the user Unfortunatly, my computer is shared, the destop has to be something we can all get along with. So I found this picture when the concept art for Half-Life 2: Episode 2 came out. Besides, beats the background of F-16's chasing Bin Laden on a flying carpet. |
