First of all, hi all!   
I hope you will enjoy your stay on this forum! There still has to be a lot of decorations to add, and the walls might need a proper repainting, but  hey, the couch is confy and Lisa is looking forward to have more friends.

I have little to add to what Dagdamor said (thanks for the Introduction), but i'll add just my quick 2-cents about what i would like this forum to become:    Basically, just as the title up there says, this forum is dedicated to Lisa Simpson, her family, her town, and all of her fans... us.
Since LittleMissSpringfield, i've always wondered if such a place could exist, and now that i've got the chance i want to try my best at making that wish come true.  And to explain how i see it, let me talk a bit about the very character that brought this place to life.

Lisa is a very sensitive, creative, smart, well-behaved child who loves her family at heart, despite some occasional quarrels;
She also is a kid at heart, capable of having fun watching Krusty's show and Itchy&Scratchy on TV, playing with her dolls, playing pranks on her brother, or just plain chatting about the things she likes;
She also is not the perfect being: Sometimes she lets herself go to the blues, she needs lots of care and attention, sometimes she says or does wrong things... or pushes her beliefs a bit too far than what it would reasonable. But she's always ready to question her wrongs and to accept the help and closeness of her friends and family.

...i would like this forum to become just like that. And if you'd like such a place too, then...

I've decided to join here seeing as well, Lisa Simpson is one of my fav cartoon characters on The Simpsons,.. and many see me as "too-obsessed with The Simpsons" so I thought, why not?

My name is Alex, i'm about 10-20, live in Russia, Moskow with my family, love 'the simpsons' show very much and as you can guess, Lisa is my favorite character there =).

Thanks for your encouraging speech and the help you are offering despite your busy schedule. Do not worry, no one is rushing anything. The forum is still just in his starting phase, will probably develop, but the most important thing is to take things slowly, and naturally, without being caught in a possibly counterproducing enthusiasm to do a lot of things at once. For now, i think there is no need for a tutorial dedicated section: Lisa's Sketchbook will do good for now, a tutorial thread won't sure overcrowd it

And we accept pretty much all kinds of fanart here Of course, if it's related to Lisa, Simpsons or Groening style in general, it will be probably more well accepted, but i like to think that the forum will be a reason to develop your creativity, in any way it can come out.
