Whoa, the coloured wings look super funky-dory! Big Grin

I'm impressed, your strong point is your colouring. Your weakness, curved lines!
You gotta get some of the basic shapes in the bag before you can draw things accuratly. circles, curves, parrallel + purpendicular lines... all = happy happy joy joy, trust me Wink

The picture is very nice... I can bearly make out the poem but, its nice really.

Keep 'em coming Smile

@Dagdamor

Maybe it's that the wings aren't slanted, so they didn't look they go into her back. I just notcied that... Sad

No, it's not because they are not slanted. I'm not sure, but maybe they look a bit odd to me only because they are too detailed. In other words, too many little feathers, and their edges are too noticeable. But again - that's only my opinion. If you look at my last picture, you'll see almost no details at all, which is not right either. Wink

Amateur Poet
Your picture with little Lisa holding her necklace simply tremendous! A marvellous, wonderful sight! And similar, not looking on anything, you well observe proportions of the character. Smile The picture is very touching, though also it looks quite simple. Also I like there are represented other things important for Lisa. The most important of which now certainly are the necklace.

Lisa-centaur looks nicely too. Especially sleeping in her stable. Her face looks lovely and appeased. The moon and stars which are peeping through the window in place here.

And a pic from Lisa Fitzgerald where Lisa stands on a threshold into room thought-out nice too. I like her reflection in a mirror, that's a good detail.
The sax on LisaFitzgerald11 is very believable, caused a smile in my face. Smile

Lisa-mousy - very amusing picture! She looks so smart and cheerful, and expression of her face is so ludicrous! Smile

And your colored pics very good. There's no such impressing technique but all the same it looks nice.
So keep on drawing! Sorry that I has commented not all of your works. Wink

Shame to me, I've just noticed AP's cards here!
Dunno how I managed to miss them. Anyway, great job! I'm not sure how to play that game... but the pack is still quite a neat thing to have in your "Simpsons" folder. Nice idea, and thanks for sharing Smile

This is just a quick sketch that I did about a week ago. I'm too lazy to color it right now, but I will soon.

Lisa Mermaid

Also, I'm putting together a "Lisa Theme" Yu-Gi-Oh deck right now, and it will be done soon. I am also creating a Bart and Maggie deck.

Coloring it would surely make it better, if at least because it'll get those eraser marks away Wink
About the sketch itself, like i said to you previously, it's quite nice: props for adding some cute details like her new necklace, the scaly tail, and sea stuff Tongue

But there is still much you can improve, if you think you should Smile You still need to try and draw less flatly. The only way to do that, sadly, is to learn and "think 3d" before even drawing the outlines of the character, and to help you in that, you must help yourself with geometry. Lisa's head is a sphere, her tummy's a sphere, her arms and legs are cylinders... in this case her tail would be a crooked cone, a bit harder Tongue Once you learn to do that, you'll see you will have no need anymore to draw all those annoying circles and lines and it will become natural to you.

If you need help, feel free to ask Smile But if you are happy with how you're drawing now, by all means ignore my tip and keep having fun, because this is the most important thing  Smile

Hooray! My substandard return to fanart! Big Grin Anyway, here are some new pics by me; mainly doodles. I'm definitely going to try and draw better ones soon.

For this one, I tried using a drawing style a friend taught me; using small pencil dashes, one at a time.

What do they call a drawing with drawing pre-structures that are not erased afterwards? A big mess. What do they call a drawing with several drawing pre-structures that are not erased afterwards? A HUGE mess. What do they call a drawing with so many drawing pre-structures that it looks like the artist has lost his mind? Cubism.  Wink

First one looks nice! Althought something wrong with her dress, I like her face and pose. Lovely plot: walking on something narrow like she does reminds me of childhood in general Smile I myself liked walk like this when I was a little girl. I think, this pic would look great, if you'll colour it: some sunlight could make her even more happy and dreamy.

That first picture is quite nice Smile There is definitely something off about her dress, probably just a little too short/tight. Nice plot though, I like the setting sun effect. I'm with Bra here, you should definitely colour it Smile

Look at that hand, lying there
The room is dark, she shows no fear
I'm lying still, my eyes are wide
My heart is pumping, I'm still alive

I'm still awake against my will
What will it ever take
To still this burning in me?

The first one is nicely done. The proportions are still slightly off, but Lisa looks much more on-model here, comparing with your older pictures. You've also added a nice background and the drawing shows some interesting plot! So my verdict is: you're improving, keep it up. I also agree with the others, you should try coloring it.
The second picture reminds me of some of my sketches... Rolls Eyes

My newest picture. This one really didn't turn out anything close to what I had hoped for. It's a parody of the Green Day album "Nimrod", and the simpsons episode "Sideshow Bob Roberts".

Hm... never seen that cover, so the parody has successfully escaped me one more time Tongue
The picture has its flaws, but it's good that you're drawing secondary characters (and it's easy to guess who is who even without faces, I guess it's a good sign Smile). Keep up practicing, and pay more attention to the characters' proportions.
