I'm thinking of writing a fic about how Mr Burns became so powerful and rich. It will follow him from a young boy all the way to the present day. Do you think I should?

That's not a bad idea probably... but don't you have two unfinished fanfics already? One finished story is better than three unfinished. Wink

I'm going to finish the Kroker Chronicles fairly soon (i.e before 2008 Wink ) Future Perfect I am thinking of re-writing because the orginal story is shit IMO. Like I said in the OP I was thinking about doing it perhaps when I finish TKC and FP.

I think that's what's known as testing a new feature!  Wink
As for the idea, yes, I think it's a good one.   Burns' background is something that interests me, particularly as the show is somewhat "flexible" in it's approach to the subject.   There are quite a lot of conflicting references in the show, I have my own theories as how they could be resolved so obviously I'd be interested to see your take on it too.
