A world without string...?! Is CHAOS!!

« on: March 12, 2007, 14:03 »

... all asked by you Big Grin

I had an idea the other day I thought I'd share. Role play's on forums usually involve people acting as a particular character, using their knowledge of the character to make realistic desisions.
I thought about taking the concept and putting it into an interview type thing, interviewing Lisa, obviously Tongue

This idea may never kick off, because we already know pretty much everything there is to know about her, and it isnt half the Lisa as its just acting. However, there is another side to Lisa that doesnt appear on the show, and thats whats been distilled into our minds. A kinda, winged perfect angel Lisa. People with LSD (Lisa Simpson Disorder) would probably know what I'm on about... its hard to explain.
Lisa doesnt have to be played by one actor, could be a mixture of people discussing what Lisa may say in reaction to the questions, then comming to a final answer.

If this does happen, I recommend two question per person, and try to make them a little unique Smile
(Yes you can ask her to marry you if you really want Tongue)

I will not run this because I'm not confident in making it work Big Grin So we also need a leader Wink

Any thoughts on this?

Casper
I think it's a brilliant idea! Smile Yeah, I'm sure it will be an interesting game to have here, on LTS. And yes, I believe that most of us are mature enough and interested in the "game subject" enough so the game won't turn into anything wrong. I also like the idea to "share" Lisa's thoughts between several members. All in all, count me in Wink I have only one complaint though. At the current moment, LisaCon isn't finished yet. We shouldn't abandon it and switch to something else. I'm not saying this is going to happen, but I'd like to see the contest properly finished first. Smile

Of course Smile It would be unfair to divert attention away from the contest just yet, was just an idea.

Thanks for the input Smile

I agree with everything Dag sayd, in that this is a wondeful idea, and in that we'd better wait the con to be finished.

Cheers, Casper. Keep this under control Smile

Very good idea!

There are many questions I'd like to ask Lisa   Tongue
Unforunately, many of them may be unanswerable...

Look at that hand, lying there
The room is dark, she shows no fear
I'm lying still, my eyes are wide
My heart is pumping, I'm still alive

I'm still awake against my will
What will it ever take
To still this burning in me?

Casper

Casper, that sounds like a great idea. When (and where?) can we start? I'm a lot like Lisa so I think I'd have more answers than questions. typical moi.  Tongue

Well, I didnt really want to have to orgasnise such an event. I've never done anything like this.  Embarrassed

The vision I had was, each member asked a question, then we could discuss on what the answer would be. Or, a small group of people could answer the questions on behalf with a private discussion off the forum premesis.

However, I'm quite sure theres a better way of doing this fairly. I dont want people arguing saying 'She wouldnt say that at all!'... but before any of that can be worried about, lets wait for a calm spot in the calandar. (After LisaCon is done)  Smile

Reviving this old thread, because Casper's idea is still very interesting.
He covered pretty much everything in his first post; so I don't have to add anything.

Let's post your questions to Lisa right in this thread; once we'll have enough amount of questions, we'll look for the best way to answer them. I personally like the version Casper proposed: several forum members discuss each question in a private conversation (considering that you don't answer the same question you have asked) and agree on a certain answer; after that, that answer is posted here or in the separate "QA" topic. Let's start Smile

If you have any questions or suggestions about the topic, don't hesitate to post them too!

I would like to ask her how big can be the magnitude of a moral lapse of a person because of it's own cowardice. And whether is the cowardice really most awful human lack? Sad And if so then how I, as Her fan, can get rid of it?

Lisa
What it is like, Lisa, to be the strong person? Not to be afraid to express own opinion, to discontent with acts of other people? And how much the price for such courage? Sad

Trying to act like the people around me, to walk like all, to speak like all, I have gradually lost desire to receive knowledge. having the inertness and fear before undertaking something instead... Sad That's the main point, I guess..

Actually, I suppose if I had an interview with real Lisa, we'll be both upset and not understanding each other
If so, better prepare yourself now, before it's too late Wink

Several questions from myself to Lisa (sorry if some of them are silly).
- What do you usually dream about?
- Have you ever dreamed about flying?
- How can you enjoy Itchy and Scratchy show, it's so dumb?
- How many red dresses do you have in your wardrobe?
- What's the best thing Bart ever did to you?
Thanks in advance Smile

Hmm, this is difficult... I just kind of seem to answer a question myself (using the "what would Lisa say?" method" ^^) as I'm thinking of it and I think "Oh... well, that's settled then" Tongue Still, I guess it's interesting to see if other people reach the same conclusion.

Lisa, despite all the hardships in your life, how do you manage to keep your spark, your desire to learn, help and always feel obligated to express your deepest, heart full opinions? How do you work up the courage to do it all on your own, shutting out the oh-so painful, piercing loneliness? Such a selfless desire to learn, and use your knowledge to help - even though often rejected.

Too unavoidable question and pretty much the same as Yggdrasill's >_> Anyway, that question is just my obvious first question, because it's always there.
Gotta think of something less obvious -.-

I've got a question.

Lisa
I highly admire your perseverance in trying to find your intellectual and emotional equals, but you rarely seem to succeed in this. Do you think that someday, you may find a people who will understand you on these levels?
