My promised opinion about your writing entry (finally! )

I have read both Russian and English versions. Much thanks for sending me the original (or was it double-translated?) version, it helped me really I liked your story a lot. Nice plot, nice flow, nice moment from Lisa's quite possible future... I think it's a good competition entry. I also liked your descriptions, and how you show and describe her thoughts and decisions.

The only thing that looked odd to me, was Lisa's reaction to Hugh... her behavior was quite hostile towards him. Is it possible that she still feels bad about those events from the "Lisa's Wedding"? If she's American president, and he's a British minister, they should respect each other, otherwise it can be dangerous for both countries and they are both mature and clever enough to understand that.

That's my only nitpick about your story. Everything else I did like. If that was your first attempt to write a story in a foreign language, I bow to you.

Yep, that was my very first attempt to writing something on english (besides all that postings here). I'm glad very much you like it. To the Lisa' reaction to Hugh i must say i thought about it when i was writing a story. And this is not that she keep some offence by him. First of all i wanted to show that there simply did not remain... an emty space in her heart because of work. More truly she does not want to allot it and that's the main plot, not that she still remember's something. I have specially tried to represent Hugh not insisting, all in all he is a rather good person, though also proud one. Thanks for giving of opinion.
